*Rabiya's point of view* I happily packed my clothes and other things in a small handbag. Then, I changed into a nice pair of clothes, grabbed my purse, and went towards Shayaan bhai's room. I knocked on the door and did not get a reply. After two more knocks, I opened the door but found no one. I headed towards the washroom but the door was already open. Where is Shayaan bhai? He is not at home again, where does he gowithout informing? Something is fishy. ''I think, I know..." I mumbled and went to the living room. "Mummy! Mummy!" I shouted and Mummy came out of the kitchen, holding a spatula in her hand. "Why are you shouting, Rabiya?" I felt her usual gaze at me, which even though I was used to, scared me a little. "Mummy, I'm ready to go, but bhai is nowhere. Who will drop me at Insha's home?" I showed my anger and tantrums to Mummy. “Behave, Rabiya!” She scolded me, but as I said earlier, I’m used to it. “Call him, ask him where is he.” I took out my mobile phone from my purse and dialed his number. "Hello," I heard Shayaan bhai's voice. "Bhai, where are you?" I asked eagerly, and something softly hit my head. “Right behind you.” I heard him and turned behind. He was standing right behind me, and a smile made its way to my lips. “Thank God you came, bhai, please drop me at Insha’s house,” I said and he nodded. “Rabiya, let him at least catch his breath, get him some water,” Mummy sent me to the kitchen, after I placed my purse and handbag on the sofa, while he sat on the sofa, leaning his back. *Shayaan’s point of view* I gulped the water which Rabiya handed me, and placed the glass on the table. “Where were you, bhai? She asked and I just shook my head. “Come, I’m waiting for you in the car,” I said and went outside carrying Rabiya’s bag. She nodded and ran towards mummy to hug her. *** “Rabiya, do you want something? I mean, money, or something else?” I asked her. “Money, or?” she mumbled under her breath. “No, not money, but I want an answer.” Rabiya suddenly said and a playful smile plastered on a face. “What answer?” I nodded my head while concentrating on the road. “How was your meeting with bhabi?” she asked in a naughty tone, widening my eyes. My heart began beating faster. “Wh-what…meeting..w-who bhabi?” I asked and she narrowed her eyes at me, making me nervous. I parked the car on the side of the road, and turned, glaring at her. “What? Don’t glare at me, bhai, I know everything.” She said while shrugging and rolling her eyes. My heart began beating even faster. “What and how do you know,Rabiya?” Trembling, I asked. She continued smiling. “Everything.” She raised her eyebrow and her answer startled me How does she know about it? What if she tells anything to mummy? She is Rabiya, who can do anything. I cannot underestimate her. I was busy in my own thoughts when she waved her hand in front of my eyes, dragging me back to real life. “What do you think, you can hide my bhabi from me?” Rabiya raised her eyebrow while asking, her sharp gaze poking me. She was still smiling. “What do you know?” I asked again, trembling. I felt my heart jumping out of my ribcage. “Forget about how and what I know, first tell me how was your meeting with my bhabi?” she pulled my cheek while asking mischievously. No need to hide anything, she knows everything. I look at her. “It was good,” I nervously replied, though a smile made its way to my lips. I started to drive again. “How do you know about us?” “Hm, the meeting was good!” She giggled, repeating my words. I felt uneasy. “That’s good, now tell me, what’s her name? Is she beautiful? Where did you meet for the first time? Is she a collegemate, or office colleague, or someone else?” she fired so many questions in a single breath, and her facial expressions made my heart jump inside my chest. I felt scared, nervous, confused, shocked, angry, and of course, embarrassed. I slammed the brakes again and parked the car on the roadside. “What do you mean by all these questions? You everything about us, right?" I asked her, completely confused. She tried to control her laughter, but couldn’t, and burst into a loud laugh, shaking her head. “I-I actually…” She laughed. I mentally cursed. What have I done? Doesn’t she know anything? What is going on? “I actually didn’t know anything, but I thought about your sudden and unknown outings, and felt something fishy. So, my mind ran at its full speed and I got the reason,” Rabiya raised her eyebrows and shrugged, acting smart. “Wait. You didn’t know anything? Ya Allah, what have done!” I smacked my forehead and she giggled looking at me. “Would you tell me if I simply asked you? I’m sure you’d never let me know.” She glared at me as I sat massaging my temple. I was embarrassed and scared too. “Don’t worry bhai. I can help you,” she said, giving me some relief, yet I was stressed and embarrassed. “Rabiya, you’re such a naughty girl-“ I said with a smile on my face but was cut off by her. “Wait, clever or smart would be a better word to define me.” She said confidently, rolling her eyes. “Please, please don’t tell about this at home,” I pleaded, and my sister was enjoying my situation. “Let me think about it, she said, putting her index finger on her chin. And my face became colorless again. My heart was jumping as I knew Rabiya, she could do anything. She’s a girl who could accept a dare and perform it very well without thinking for a single moment. “Okay…fine. Ice cream!” I listened to her and smiled at her innocent demand. "But, promise me, you won't tell anything about this to papa and especially mummy," I said politely. "Okay, but you have to tell me everything about you and my bhabi. And...I also want to meet her." She giggled and I hit her head lightly. "Bhai, agreed or not?" she childishly asked with furrowed brows. "Done. Now tell me which flavor do you want?" I started driving as I asked. "Which flavor is her favorite?" She suddenly asked. "Choco-" Words unintentionally rolled off my tongue but I stopped myself in the middle. I smiled thinking about her. Shut up and tell me what flavor do you want." I scolded Rabiya while trying to hide my smile. "Ohhh, chocolate! It means my bhai and bhabi go on icecream dates! Not bad, bhai," Rabiya teased, making me feel embarrassed. That's true, we did go on icecream dates, but of course, I can't discuss it with my younger sister. "How shameless are you, Rabiya? Don't you have any manners, how to talk to your elder brother?" I scolded her to hide my embarrassment, but she took it too seriously. "I'm sorry if you don't like discussing my bhabhi." She turned her face to the other side. Her sad face and silence were enough to make me restless. After all, she is my princess, my doll. "I don't like my doll sitting silently, look at me," I said and she looked at my smiling face. "I'm not talking to you, I'm offended with you." She said and I smiled again at her childish act. "I'm sorry for scolding you, now tell me what do you want to know about her?" I asked seriously, and she giggled. "Really?" she exclaimed and I nodded my head in agreement. "Everything, I want to know everything about my bhabhi," she said while jumping in joy, and my heart filled with happiness as my sister called her bhabi. I was actually imagining her as my bride. "Her name is Sarah, and we both know each other from the first day of our college," I informed Rabiya and a smile made its way to my lips. "Does she work in your office?" Rabiya asked me and I shook my head. "She is not interested in a job, she just wants to study and she is doing a Ph.D.," I informed her proudly but she was surprised. I didn't get the reason behind her sudden reaction. "Strange." She said and I looked at her. "What's strange about this?" I asked with furrowed brows while concentrating on the road. "She got time for love as well as her studies," Rabiya quietly mumbled but I heard it. "She didn't get time but she can't refuse to meet your handsome brother, so she manages," I said cheerfully and pulled out my mobile from my pocket and passed to her after opening a photo of Sarah in the gallery. *Rabiya's point of view* Shayaan bhai gave me his mobile and I noticed a beautiful face flashing on his mobile screen. She had a fairy white complexion with light brown protruding eyes, rosy lips, and pink cheeks. There was a mole on her forehead, between her soft arched eyebrows, making her more beautiful. Her dark long black hair was tied in a braid and draping on her shoulder, reaching her waist. I just stared at her. She was the most beautiful girl I ever saw. A smile appeared on my face like her, and I understood why my brother, who never paid attention to any girl in his school or family fell in love with her. I swiped to see the next photo, and in it, Shayaan bhai and my would-be bhabi were sitting in a garden holding hands. I chuckled after watching my brother's Romeo like form. Shayaan bhai glanced at me, then the photo on the screen. His face became red with shyness and embarrassment and he snatched the mobile from my hand. "Bhai, she is beautiful." "I know." He whispered with an ear to ear grin. "And your couple is awesome," I said teasingly and he ground his teeth in nervousness. "Go," He said and I looked at him, confused. "Where?" I asked and he pointed towards Insha's house. "We reached and I didn't even realize because I was busy in the love story of-" I said to myself and smirked. "Go now." He shooed me away. "Bhai, aren't you coming with me?" I asked. "At least come and wish Insha!" I scolded him and he just shook his head. "I'll meet her tomorrow, go now. And, uh, don't tell about this to anyone, please." Shayaan bhai literally begged and I laughed at his condition. "Okay, I'll think about it, since you didn't get me an ice-cream," I teased and rushed out of the car taking my bags. His face showed many colors, most prominently fear of mummy. I felt his gaze on me, but I ran inside Insha's house, leaving him in an anxious situation.i enjoyed seeing my dear brave brother in that nervous look.
