---- Chapter 22 Angela was stunned by what could be accomplished with money. Never would she have even dreamed of such lavishness. Touched, she hugged Julian and said sincerely, " Thank you, darling." This was her first time being this affectionate with Julian. Heart stirring, he asked hoarsely, "How do you plan on thanking me?" On one fateful night, three months later, Angela exited the bathroom with a sigh. Even now, Julian cherished her just as much as he did on their wedding day, if not more. He immediately expressed his concern. "Are you feeling unwell because of your period? I'll make you a cup of chamomile tea." He was still as familiar with her cycle as ever. Shaking her head, Angela replied, "I wish it were my period. I think... we need to go to the hospital and take ---- a look. We shouldn't have bothered with birth control, after all." Truth be told, she was mentally prepared for this. To make up for the years they'd missed out on, Julian saw to it that Angela barely ever got a good night's sleep in the past three months. While they used birth control from time to time, for the most part, they left things to fate. Startled, Julian said, "Let's go to the hospital right away." It was late, and most doctors at the public and nonprofit hospitals had left for the day, so Julian brought Angela to a private hospital. He anxiously waited while the doctor ran the test. Much to their joy, it was found that Angela was one month pregnant and most likely carrying twins. Giddy with excitement, Julian dared not drive by himself. He called his driver to come and pick them up. All throughout the journey, he clutched the pregnancy report with a grin on his face. When they were almost home, he impulsively said, ''Come. Let's go shopping for the babies." ---- Being fond of kids herself, Angela was thrilled, too. However, after hearing that, she had to remind Julian, "The doctor said our babies aren't even the size of a walnut yet. Isn't it a little too early to start shopping for them?" It turned out to be a good thing that she stopped Julian. As soon as the happy news was shared with their respective families, their home was swiftly filled to the brim. In the Fuller family, Julian was the only child of his generation. Having assumed that the family wouldn't be blessed with many little ones, they had accepted their fate. Thus, Julian's parents and grandparents were all thrilled to hear that Angela was carrying twins. They were even more overjoyed when they later found out she would be giving birth to a son and a daughter. Not only did they send over a stream of supplements for her and the babies, but they even filled the entire house with clothes and necessities for the babies. Sitting in the living room with the entire Fuller family, Angela felt as though she was being worshipped like a queen. Even the slightest hint of Discover our latest featured short drama reel.
