---- Chapter 21 Soon, the music from the ballroom overpowered the commotion of the women beating up Carl. Once Julian and Angela finished their kiss, the officiant said helplessly, "Now that the bride has kissed the groom, the groom may now kiss the bride." Angela was panting slightly. Her lipstick was all smudged. Feeling a tug in his heart, Julian bent down and gave her the gentlest of kisses. When they parted once more, they could see the joy shining in each other's eyes. With how grand the ceremony was, it only stood to reason that the reception was just as magnificent. To celebrate the occasion, Julian even opened up his family's private wine cellar and allowed his friends to bring out his entire collection. Julian and Angela went from table to table, accepting toasts and well wishes from their friends and family. As the wine bottles slowly emptied, he felt a happiness he'd never felt before. Angela had a fairly low alcohol tolerance. She only ---- had a glass of wine with both of their parents. As for the rest of the toasts, Julian would drink in her place. He accepted toasts from everyone, much to the excitement of the employees of Fuller Group who were in attendance. Once it seemed like he was starting to get drunk, they immediately swarmed him and started offering their toasts, too. "You and Mrs. Fuller make an excellent couple, Mr. Fuller. You two are a solid match in every way." "T hope there will be a new addition to your family soon." "Me too! I'm nowa supporter of your relationship. I hope you have a happy marriage..." Julian was in an exceptionally good mood today. He readily drank with anyone who offered a toast to him. While Angela had heard that he could hold his liquor well, there was still a limit to everything. Once she saw the flush that crept over his skin, she felt the need to say, "Don't push it, everyone." "How sweet! You're already being so protective of your husband," Tanya teased. ---- Angela wasn't trying to be protective of Julian. After all, it didn't seem like he would ever need her protection. Nevertheless, it felt nice to hear that. "Tf you say so," she joked right back. "Either way, he needs to stop drinking." Julian went along with Angela by pretending to bea little too inebriated. He took this chance to take her hand and escort her back to their seats, smiling widely the whole time. Even when the sky had turned completely dark, it didn't seem like the reception would be ending anytime soon. Once Julian was almost on the verge of passing out from being drunk, they were finally able to use that as an excuse to leave. Angela helped him back home, leaving the guests to continue with their revelry. Julian owned plenty of properties. Even the house he currently used would've sufficed as their marital home, but he insisted on giving her the best of the best. Therefore, he bought a new villa ina neighborhood near the Regalia Hotel. It now served as their new home. Discover our latest featured short drama reel. Watch now and enjoy the story!
