*Third person's point of view* "Hm? Let's go." Rabiya put on a smile and walked away, but she felt pain inside. "Maaz, what's wrong?" Rimsha asked with furrowed brows when she saw Maaz's gaze fixed on some other girl. "She-she is Rabiya!" Maaz said while averting her eyes. Rabiya sat silently with her friends. "Who? Who Rabiya?" Rimsha asked in confusion. "Rabiya...my wife. The girl who was standing there is my wife!" Maaz looked at Rimsha and stated, but they still held each other's hands. "Your...your wife!" Rimsha asked, her voice now heavy and eyes wet. Maaz reluctantly nodded his head. Till then, Maaz saw Rabiya getting up from the table. Her friends were trying to stop her, but she moved towards the exit. Without saying anything to Rimsha, Maaz stood as well and followed Rabiya. "Maaz!" Rimsha tried to stop him, but he was already gone. "Rabiya! Rabiya! Please wait!" Maaz shouted. Rabiya heard him but didn't stop walking. "Taxi!" Rabiya chirped, and before Maaz could even reach her, the taxi had already taken to the road. Maaz rushed to his car and started following the vehicle. "Rabiya, please..." He mumbled as he stepped on the gas. "Where is she going?" Maaz asked himself when the taxi took a different turn. "Bhaiya, please drive fast," Rabiya told the taxi driver when she saw Maaz's car behind. The taxi stopped in front of Rabiya's house. She quickly handed a note to the driver, and without even bothering to take the balance, she ran to the house. Meanwhile, Maaz shut his car right behind the taxi. Locking his car, he yelled, "Rabiya, listen!" Rabiya rang the doorbell and waited for the door to open when Maaz came and stood beside her. Maaz tried to speak, but Rabiya was so angry that she rang the doorbell five times at once. "Rabiya, at least listen to me!" "I don't want to talk to you. Go from here! I don't want to create a scene in my house," Rabiya said without looking at him. "Rabiya, at least listen to me! Give me a damn chance to say something!" "Mummy! Papa!" Rabiya yelled while ringing the doorbell multiple times again. Maaz grabbed her hand, but she freed it with a jerk. "Don't you dare to touch me! Go and hold her hand!" Rabiya whisper-yelled rudely. "Rabiya-" Maaz held Rabiya's shoulder. Before Rabiya could do anything, Tabassum opened the door. "Rabiya? Maaz?" Tabassum muttered in surprise. She saw Maaz's hand on Rabiya's shoulder and smiled, thinking of their bond. "Come on in!" she said happily but then saw her daughter's face red in anger. "Why are you looking angry?" "Where were you, mummy? I was ringing the bell for almost five minutes!" Rabiya asked angrily. "Sit down first, you both," Tabassum said and went to the kitchen to get water. Maaz took a seat, and Rabiya glared at him. Maaz tapped on the sofa beside him and whispered, "Sit." "Never!" She said as she continued glaring at him. "Rabiya, why are you standing? Sit, beta," Tabassum said when she returned. "Mummy, where are Papa and Shayaan bhai? I have to talk to them," Rabiya hurriedly said. Maaz's face drained all its color. "Rabiya, is everything alright?" Tabassum asked in worry when she saw her oh-so-cheerful daughter in such a serious mood. "Where is papa?" she repeated. "Shayaan is at the office, and your papa is sleeping," Tabassum informed. "Papa is sleeping at this time?" Rabiya asked in surprise. She had always seen her father wake up early for the morning prayer. "Yes, your papa is ill since last night." "Is Uncle Faiz alright?" Maaz asked. Rabiya angrily glared at him. You don't have to care for my family or me. "Papa is sick! What happened to him? Why didn't you inform me?" Rabiya asked worriedly. "Beta, don't worry, he is fine- why are you still standing?" Tabassum said lovingly. Rabiya took a seat on a sofa opposite Maaz. "You both are visiting for the first time after your marriage. You should've informed me so that I could at least make some preparations for lunch!" Tabassum said lightheartedly. "No, it's fine, aunty. We will be going back in sometime. Please, don't take any difficulty," Maaz said before Rabiya could intervene. "No, I'm not going. I'll stay here with my family," Rabiya said without looking at anyone. Maaz looked at her in shock, but Tabassum didn't get the hidden meaning. "If you want to stay with us, then stay here! Nonetheless, you are coming after ten days," Tabassum said as she caressed Rabiya's forehead, and then she kissed it. "I am going to tell your papa that you have come," Tabassum said while getting up. "Mummy, don't disturb him," Rabiya said with concern. "Rabiya beta, he is not so sick. Besides, his health will improve seeing you," she said and walked towards her room, leaving Rabiya and Maaz alone. Maaz swiftly went to Rabiya and sat beside her. Rabia glared at him and sat on the other side. "Rabiya, listen to me," Maaz said with determination. "No, I'm listening to you for ten days. Now, listen to me. All this is over- I will never bother you again. Live your life as you wish. And, thank you for giving me the experience of marriage, I never had an idea of how it could be," Rabiya said with anger and bent her face away from him, but her eyes were wet. "Rabiya, at least give me a chance to say something. I was about to tell you in the morning but-" Rabiya turned back, her face seething in anger. "Oh, yeah! What was that this morning, Maaz?" "All your promises, your guarantees, commitments, everything was fake," she said. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "They were not fake, I acknowledged you as my wife, and I have given you my word of honor," Maaz said, but Rabiya turned her face to the other side again. She is just like a small kid, always ready to cry, he thought. "Stop crying." Maaz bent on his knees in front of Rabiya, who began crying silently. Maaz wiped her tears. "Please, yaar, try to understand-" he was just about to say something when Faiz Ahmed entered the room with his wife. Both were surprised to witness Rabiya crying, but they were happy as well to see Maaz wiping her tears while sitting on his knees. "Rabiya~, why is my baccha crying?" Faiz asked worriedly. "Papa!" Rabiya scooted to her father and hugged him. "Rabiya, what's wrong?" Faiz Ahmed asked worriedly. "Did someone say something to you?" he asked when he felt something fishy, giving Maaz a side-glance. "Uncle, how are you? Rabiya was worried for you," Maaz said to Faiz, who caressed the head of his princess. He didn't reply to Maaz but looked at Rabiya, who was silently sobbing in his arms like a baby. "When did my little princess become so big, that she worries for me? I was upset for you myself!" Faiz Ahmed said to Rabiya in a loving voice, but what he said, alarmed her. "Why are you upset for me? Rabiya asked while breaking the hug. "Last night, your father thought that you are not happy. He was anxious for you." As Tabassum informed Rabiya, Maaz looked at her. He remembered the incident from the previous night. "How are you now?" Maaz asked Faiz. "Since my princess is here with me, I'm fine!" Faiz told Maaz and kissed his daughter's forehead. "Maaz, I have to talk to you," Faiz said and he nodded. "Papa, I want to talk to you as well," Rabiya said. This time, she was not crying, but she felt strong in her father's presence. "Sit here, I'm coming in 5 minutes with tea," Tabassum said and turned to the kitchen. "Mummy, you sit, I make it," Rabiya said to her mother. "What?" Faiz and Tabassum both said in unison in amazement. Maaz looked at both of them with confusion. Maaz couldn't control himself to ask, "Why?" "Rabiya never did any work. She felt tired in just giving water to her brother when he returned from office," Tabassum informed Maaz with a smile. "Do you even know how to make tea?" Faiz asked while smiling. "I learned to make tea and coffee..." Rabiya replied without looking at Maaz. Maaz felt bad because she always did his work without any complaint. Instead, he made her work even more just to trouble her. He felt guilty indeed. "You sit here. Since you are coming here first time after your marriage, you don't have to do any work," Tabassum said happily to Rabiya and made her sit beside Maaz. She went to the kitchen to make tea. "Maaz, are you alright?" Faiz asked Maaz, who was busy in his thoughts. "Yeah," he replied. "How is everyone at home? We were thinking about inviting you all to dinner but-" Faiz said, but suddenly paused. "But?" Maaz asked with confusion. "I was not well, so Shayaan delayed the plan," Faiz added. "Papa, what happened to your health? The same heart problem?" Rabiya asked Faiz, and he nodded. "But now, I'm absolutely fine. Seeing the two of you together is making me happy," Faiz said happily. Rabiya and Maaz both faked their smiles as they looked at each other. Rabiya decided to drop the plan of informing her father about Maaz and his girlfriend because Faiz Ahmed was already worried for her. The new information would be dangerous for his health since he already had heart issues. "Uncle, take care of your health. If you need anything, call me at any time. I'm always there for you," Maaz said, and Faiz smiled. "Did you have your lunch?" Faiz asked. Maaz and Rabiya looked at each other before they broke their gaze away and looked at Faiz. Lying in unison, they both said, "Yes." "Then, you will have your dinner with us!" Tabassum exclaimed as she entered the room. Her heartfelt as though it were floating with happiness when she looked at her daughter and son-in-law. The pair looked adorable together. "No, it would be very late then," Maaz said and looked at Rabiya. He wanted to talk to her, but she did not even look at him. "Mummy, I'm tired. I'll go to my room and rest," Rabiya said and stood up. Tabassum nodded. "If you also feel tired, you can also take some rest," Tabassum said. After a short conversation over a cup of tea, Maaz walked up to Rabiya's bedroom. He wasn't tired- he wanted to talk to Rabiya. Entering the room without knocking, he saw her standing near the window. "Rabiya..." Locking the door behind him, he pronounced her name. "Maaz, I want to talk to you." Rabiya said when she witnessed him in her room. "Please, I want to too," Maaz said.
