Chapter 15 You Go And Lie Down To Sleep Dana's face turned pale with fear. The man looked at the little girl who was half-down in front of her. Her carved face was still beautiful and with an expressionless face, he threw down a pair of slippers on the ground. "Wear it yourself." "Oh, okay." Dana slowly bent down and put on her slippers. He had scared her to death. She just thought this man was going to kiss her. The girl stood up from the ground with a blushed face. Her waist was not properly straightened and so she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen! "Ouch!" Dana bowed down again with a flushed face while clutching her abdomen tightly. She looked in pain. "What's the matter?" The man noticed the difference in her body and asked indifferently. "I-I have a stomachache. Where is your bathroom?" In the bathroom. Dana was really embarrassed to stay in someone else's house. However, when she sat down to see what had happened to her, her chin completely fell to the ground. Oh gosh! She looked at the bright red on her underwear and her brain completely went blank. She curled up in a ball over her colic abdomen and she did not prepare any sanitary pads for her period, who suddenly just visited her! What was more, she was still at Mr. Herbert's house. Dana's scalp hardened. Finally, she walked back to the living room while enduring severe pain. Walker, who was still dressed in a black suit while his slender legs were folded, sat on the black sofa. He was busy looking at his laptop, which was probably doing something like a financial asset data map. "Teacher." Dana looked at him and spoke with difficulty. She found it hard how to ask him appropriately. When the man heard her voice, he shifted his gaze from his laptop to her before he raised his eyebrows. "Well," Dana stumbled but continued, "Is there a convenience store near your house? I want to buy something." The man looked around calmly and then looked back at her for two seconds. He said, "What do you want? I have everything in my house." "Oh but, I'll just buy it myself." The embarrassed expression on the girl's face was still written. The man looked at her twinkling face for two seconds then casually closed the laptop. "You go and lie down to sleep. I'll buy it for you." "It's all right, I'm fine. Please tell me where is the nearest convenience store in your neighborhood." Dana really wanted to dig a hole in the ground that time. She wished she could just be swallowed in whole now. Instead of looking at her, the man put his notebook aside and slowly stood up from the sofa where he sat. "I know what you want. I'll buy it." When he said this, his expression was obviously calm but she did not know why, perhaps because his tone was too slow that it seemed particularly meaningful. Was he flirting with her? Dana blushed that the redness reached her neck. "No, no, I insist. Teacher, I can go and buy it myself!" "Do you want everyone to see it?" The man dropped his words and the whole room fell silent. Before Dana realized what he said, she saw the tall figure of the man turning his back on her and said, "I'm leaving." And so, he closed the door and Dana was left standing still. She looked down at her pants. Damn. She immediately wanted to die right away! Dana could not sleep that night. She thought a lot of things as if she was idle for the rest of the dead night. She would probably look pale and emotionless when the daytime came. There was nothing else she could do but she must show her most vulnerable and sad side. She thought it was all dramatic. She stumbled and slept with a man who happened to be her college teacher in the bar. And now, she lived under the same roof with her teacher. Anyway, if she left tomorrow morning, she did not have anything to do with Mr. Herbert again! The girl thought and finally fell asleep at dawn. However, not long after she fell asleep, her cell phone alarm clock was already heard! She did not know how many times she went back and forth because of pain and finally woke up to take a look at the time. 'Oh, my God!' This morning was her class with the dean! The girl immediately jumped out of bed, dressed, and washed as fast as she could. She rushed out but unexpectedly, the man she was with was already up. Today, he dressed in white casual clothes. He sat at the dinner table while reading the newspaper. His features were sprinkled with the clear light of the morning. Walker's angelic face looked up from and said impassively, "Overslept?"
