Chapter 14 Where Walker Herbert looked at her without emotion while his eyes were as deep as the sea. If one looked into it carefully, one could see that there was a very light layer of displeasure and gloom in the man's black eyes. "Going out to dinner with a boy and coming back late is the way you study hard?" Dana Roosevelt did not respond to his remark. How did he know she went out to dinner with a boy? Dana was speechless. She was thinking that Mr. Herbert was too difficult to deal with and handle with but fortunately, she did not plan to spend any more effort on him. "All right, then. Teacher, I promise I won't cause you any trouble." "Okay." Dana did not respond again. What would she reply to his "Okay"? It really was. He was not welcome at all. At the school snack bar. The girl in casual clothes and hair being ponytailed sat sleepily at the table at the snack bar. That was the second hour that she had been sitting there. She looked at her watch and found that there were still six hours left. The access control would not be lifted until six hours later. Which meant Dana was going to sit at the snack bar all those hours. At first, the girl sat there to eat, and then, she did not know when and how did it happen, she slowly laid down and fell asleep. Unexpectedly, an inky look outside the glass window had been looking at her since she stayed there. "Get up." Dana thought she was hearing voices but she got up vaguely from the table and her eyes saw a pair of familiar leather shoes on the floor! "Herbert. Mr. Herbert?" The girl rubbed her sleepy eyes which were as big as a black pearl. Walker looked down at her while his jaw was curved, and his eyes turned cold. "Get up." "And where am I supposed to go?" "Go to sleep." Sleep. Dana was so sleepy that she forgot to think so much of what he said to her and just followed the mature man out of the commissary. It was not until she got in his car that the girl woke up a little bit as if she had been drunk that she was sober that time. "Mr. Herbert, where are we going?" Though hesitating, she just followed him while thinking that he had finally figured it out and was willing to help her intercede with the hostess. But although the Progress University was big, it was not enough to drive her to a dormitory building, was it? She could just walk, anyway, right? "We're going to my house." The woman was stunned for two seconds while Walker was starting the car. Dana, then, was completely confused. "Your house?" Walker did not say anything. Dana looked sideways at the man who was so handsome that she wanted to commit a crime in disbelief while she was beside him in the passenger's seat. "Mr. Herbert, why would I come to your house?" The man's cold eyes left her speechless, "Otherwise you still want to get a room with me?" At the Silver Beach. This was one of the most upscaled buildings in Progress downtown and the top luxury. Dana noticed that her jaw fell off when he drove in. The girl looked blankly at the luxurious real estate with extremely beautiful lights seen at night. "Mr. Herbert. Is this," she looked at him before she continued, "Where you live?" The man stopped the car without changing his expression and just spit out a word. "Yes." "Then your house," she rattily said. "How much does it cost?" Dana admitted that she was truly vulgar. But she really did not believe that an ordinary college teacher could afford to buy a house in Silver Beach! Sure enough, the man turned off the car engine and uttered three words calmly. "60 million dollars." Dana's jaw just literally dropped after she heard the price of his house – fucking $60 million! '$60 million? Where would he get such money to pay his house?' "Teacher. You," the girl has a twitching movement at the corner of her mouth. "How-How is it possible? Are you that rich?!" Walker did not say a word but got out of the car. Dana followed him into the building. The whole apartment building, as she imagined, was resplendent and top-notch. The most terrible thing was that Walker lives on the top floor and took over the whole floor by himself! Just what the hell! When Dana opened the door and entered the house, she could not help but exclaim, "Wow!" The place was so beautiful. It looked dashing! So bright! The girl looked at the surroundings dizzily. European style was the main style but there was no feeling of grandiose at all. On the contrary, it remained magnificent and noble. It satisfied her eyes, a girl's aesthetic appreciation was evident on her face as she was scanning the highest standard of housing. But soon, a dangerous thought passed through Dana's mind – she was now in the home of a strange person! Besides, this man once raped her! When the idea came back to her, the girl's beautiful and radiant face, which was full of collagen as a teenager, immediately turned very white. Her feet could not be stepped on but when she was on the verge of an enemy, an enlarged handsome face suddenly pressed down on her! Dana felt the man's approach and cried out in panic. She totally freaked out!
