Rose Hastington My eyes were so puffy, I cursed under my breath as I looked at myself at the mirror. I sighed and quickly jumped into the shower. I decided to go to work today, I have a pile of work waiting for me. I don’t even care about eating. I don’t have any appetite. I walked to my car and drove to my office. Last night, I cried my heart out. I realized that I still love him. Some of you may think this is stupid but you have to feel the pain to know how I feel. It’s not easy to let him go or to move on from him. As soon as I arrived at my office, I walked up to my office and went straight to do my work. Burying myself to work is the best way to forget everything for a moment. I stopped when my stomach growled, I turned to see the time and it’s 7 in the evening. I laughed at myself for loving work these days because of Max. I texted Janet to asked who’s staying with Max today, I wanted to know. She told me that today is Sebastian’s turn to guard him so I decided to call Sebastian. "Hey." He answered. "Don't tell Max that I'm calling you!" I said quickly. "Oh hey Mr. Trone, long time no see." He played along and I’m really thankful for that. "I'm out now." He said and I smiled. "How is he?" I asked. "Getting worse today." I closed my eyes and sighed. "What happen?" "He doesn't talk, all he do was staring at the ceiling thinking about God knows what. He doesn't eat today and he can't recover fast because his mental health." Sebastian said and I sense a worried tone. "Can you all tell him to get back to his usual self and go sleep around again?" "Rose, we all know about this. He's broken and he needs you. He can heal fast if you go back to him." "I'm not going back to him." I said angrily. "I know you're hurt Rose, but can you help him to get better. After his condition better, I will let you leave him." "Sebastian, he has Jennifer." "Rose you know him well, he never get back to the same woman besides you. He loves you, he’s still dumb to realize that.” "We have my limits, 11 years is enough." "You still love him Rose, that's why you call me to check his condition. Doctor injected him a medicine at 9 later and that medicine will make him sleepy. Come at 9.30 Rose, check on him." He said. "I'll think about it.” "Thanks Rose." I ended the call and decided to go to the restaurant across my office. I bought some food with me to go there. It's 8.21 and I know he's not sleeping yet. Since he hasn't eat, maybe I'll just bring this and ask him to eat. I arrived at the hospital and go up to the 4th floor. I walked to his room and opened the door slowly. I saw Sebastian's face light up, he smiled. I walked in and saw Max's face light up. I bet he didn’t expect me to come. I walked to Max and set the table for him to eat. I put his food on the table and helped him to open it. I put the spoon on his left hand and I walked to Sebastian. I hugged him briefly and gave Sebastian the food that I bought earlier. "Rose." Max called me but I ignored him, my stomach growled loudly. "You haven't eat?" Sebastian asked. "No." I answered. "Rose." Max called me and I turned to him waiting for him to continue but he just stared at me. I ate my food silently so was Sebastian. "Dude stop try-" Sebastian said and I turned to see Max trying to get off the bed. I put my food on the table and looked at him coldly. "Can you stop acting stupid? If it's time to eat your meals, eat. If it's time for you to eat your medicine, eat it. Don't stupidly be quite all day and stare the ceiling like an idiot! Go heal fast so you can f*** girls again." I bursted angrily and he just stared blankly at me. "Can you let me hug you for a moment?" He asked and my eyes widen. "I'll be outside." I heard Sebastian said and he walked out the door. "Can you come here and hug me for awhile Rose?" He asked and gestured me to come. I walked to him and sighed. He took my hands and pulled me into a hug. He hugged me so tightly, I felt his breath on my neck. My eyes started to water and I miss this so much. His touch can give a really big affect on me. "I'm sorry." He said, I tried to hold my tears back so badly. "I'm sorry for hurting you Rose, I'm sorry but I can't let you go. I need you in my life, last night I imagined my life without you. You're marrying someone else.. and even have kids with another guy. I can't let you that. I can’t let you go for someone else." He said and my tears slowly fell off from my eyes. "I've hurt you a lot, I don't know how can I heal your heart back. I left a lot of scars, I.. I don't know how to fix it. Please don't leave me, I don't have anyone else to lean on if you leave." He begged and I was so speechless. "I promise I'll get better fast, I'll show you how much you're worth for me. I promise.. Please give me a chance okay? Don't leave me, don't move on." "You'll just hurt me again.” I said in a painful tone. "If I hurt you again, you can leave me. You can leave me and I promise I let you go." He said as he pushed my shoulder to see my face. He wiped my tears and looked straight to my eyes. "Give me a chance.. one more time." "Why you suddenly change?" I asked. "It's always been you Rose, from the start it's always been you but.. my past is hunting me. You know about this."
