Halima’s POV I noticed he was taking the route to the airport but I tried to keep quiet. I had realized that my parents were back and that we were going to pick them. My dad is a retired soldier that’s presently a business man. My mum on the other hand is an international fashion designer. Normally when we picked them being the only child, I went with my cousins or uncles and sometimes even with Teemah and her family. When we reached the airport I didn’t realize it before I said, “nasan inda zamuje, su mama zamuje daukowa koh? {I know where we are going, we are going to pick mum and co right?}”. He just laughed and told me to come out of the car. I got out and saw my favorite thing, chocolates. I begged him to buy some for me and then I started munching on it. They were soo yummy. I literally moaned while taking them. My mouth watered more and more. I closed my eyes in pleasure. Yeah, that’s how I behave when I’m taking chocolates. Before we could leave the parking lot I sighted my parents and one other man I couldn’t make out who. I ran and my dad pulled me in a hug. I hugged my mum too and they both pecked me. My parents love me a lot but never spoiled me. They always made sure I get everything necessary but not too much. It was after the exchange I realized who it was. The other person was Sophie’s dad. Great!! Just great!! Deal with the daughter and then get to take the dad home in your parents’ car. I rolled my eyes. As if his daughter had not ruined my day enough. I greeted him and then he gave me four bars of chocolate. As if he knew just what I wanted. I collected it and thanked him. Then I realized I shouldn’t be angry at the man. It was his daughter who spoilt my day not him. Chocolates helped me think that way. And mum always said chocolates aren’t goos for me. I decided to push every thought to the back of my mind and feel in the moment. As we entered the car, with my parents and I at the back seat and then Sophie’s dad, uncle Marafa as we call him at the front. We drove to only God knows where. I didn’t even want to know where we were going as I was too busy munching on my chocolate and enjoying my parent’s presence. We pulled over in front of KFC and uncle Marafa went in and got us some I wanted to start murdering the already murdered chicken with my teeth when my mum collected it and said I should wait till we got home. I whined and whined all to no avail. I finally gave up. We got home around 6pm and guess what, Teemah was at our house. I was already expecting to see Sophie but I didn’t care even a single bit. I went to my room, took a bath, got dressed in grey sweat pants and a black top with a black turban to cover my hair and went down the stairs with my phone at hand. I went to the fridge, took 2 apples and went to the dining room since the traitor was in the living room. My mind then told me that it was my parent’s house and I had the right to go anywhere and stay anywhere I wished. I walked to the living room. I took Teemah’s bag off my favorite cushion which was the one seeter facing the TV and threw it on the ground. She turned at my direction and sent me a glare but I didn’t care. I ate my apple while listening to music and chatting at the same time. I first went through my WhatsApp followed by my Instagram, tiktok, vskit and then snap chat. I was never a Facebook user cause it seemed too wild and I also believed it was for old people. When I was done replying to my waiting messages, I updated my status for whatsapp. Just when I was about to go offline my phone beeped with a message from Teemah saying it’s time. I got up finished my apples and dropped my phone and headset. Teemah came inside and locked the door behind her. I closed the window linking to my room and dropped all the curtains. When everywhere was covered, Teemah hugged me and I hugged her back. We then turned to a stunned Sophie gaping at us. She was looking at us so much that one could think her eyes were about to fall out. I laughed so hard tears started to stream from my eyes. I wiped the tears and Sophie asked, looking at Teemah. “What the heck is happening here? Teemah? What is happening?” Sophie questioned. Teemah being the wicked girl she was laughed so much before replying. “Did you seriously think I would forsake my best friend for you? Ahh you are really in trouble. I swear you don’t have sense ‘cause if you had sense you would’ve realized long ago that it was all an act.”I also laughed. “you know all her siblings inherited their brain but Aunty Fauzzy and Uncle Marafa but she got hers from their pet dog”. Sophie was still gaping whem she said “what the flying eff!”. She blinked once, twice then regained her composure. Teemah laughed. “let me do the honors of explaining what happened to you. So when Halli told me everything that happened between you, her and Ashfat I came up with a plan to teach you a lesson. The plan was that we would pretend to hate each other for a while and then when you are satisfied that I was on your side, I’ll take your phone and text Ashfat as you telling him to stay away from you and that you hate him because he’s the reason your cousin literally hates you now. “He replied ok and I blocked him then deleted his number from your phone but before I did that, Teemah told me the kind of mother you have so I screenshotted your chats with him when you were saying you love him and everything and sent it to your mum’s phone two minutes ago. Am sure she must be on her way here right now.”  She completed with a smirk. “you guys! What have you done? Do you know the kind of trouble I’ll get into for this?” Sophie said freaking out. “well we don’t care, did you know the way I was heart broken yesterday. Now you won’t feel that kind of pain. No, you’ll feel a kind far more worse, shame.” I said leaving the parlor. “that’ll teach you to never mess with the IMAS.” Teemah added trailing behind me.
