---- Chapter 18 Carl was outraged. To make Angela regret everything, he didn't even bother waiting until his swelling went down before he headed to the hospital to visit Lucy. Angela had snarkily said she hoped the two would have a baby together soon, hadn't she? Well, he was going to prove to her that she was the one who couldn't be without him, while he would have a far better life once he'd gotten rid of her. Lucy was pregnant, but her pregnancy was a little unstable, so she had to be hospitalized for better care. Carl decided to take a few photos of them together and flaunt their relationship. Brimming with self-confidence, Carl went to the VIP hospital room he'd booked for Lucy. He was just about to surprise her with his visit when he heard the sound of aman grunting and a woman moaning. The sounds weren't too loud, but he could tell they came from the VIP room-and the woman's voice belonged to Lucy! Furious, Carl was able to kick the door open in one go, even though it'd been locked from the inside. Carl rushed up to Norman, who couldn't move away in time, and slapped him. Grabbing Norman by the collar, Carl proceeded to pummel him, and the scene quickly grew out of hand. The spectating crowd all started making comments, remarking that Carl had been cuckolded. Carl had given Norman a good thrashing, but that wasn't enough to assuage his anger. He stormed up to the bed and was just about to slap Lucy when he heard her cry out, "I-I'll admit it, okay? Don't hit me! I got pregnant when I was cheating on Keith with Norman. "T wasn't planning on latching onto you, but who would've thought that Keith would die all of a sudden? Norman went to prison before, but I want the baby to have a clean record.
