---- Julian interrupted curtly to put an end to Carl's blabberings, which were getting on his nerves. Carl was stupefied. "Who are you? Where's Angela?" Julian couldn't be bothered to explain much to Carl. He simply said, "Angela and I are getting married the day after tomorrow. You're welcome to attend the ceremony. It'll be at the Regalia Hotel." The Regalia Hotel was the most luxurious hotel in Sherrington. It was said that an award-winning actor held an extravagant wedding ceremony at that very hotel, and Julian had gone even further. He didn't just book one of the ballrooms. He booked the entire hotel. Once Julian finished speaking, he terminated the call, deleted it from the call history, and blacklisted the number. He was done before Angela emerged from the bathroom wearing his shirt. Despite having mentally prepared himself for this, he still felt his heart rate spike when he saw her approaching him while drying her hair with a towel. Even his blood started rushing. Julian was a whole head taller than Angela. Naturally, his shirt was loose on her. Nevertheless, thanks to her ---- voluptuous curves, the shirt just barely reached her thighs. Even the front was propped up, revealing her collarbones. His breath hitched as he averted his gaze out of respect for her while calmly saying, "You're still having your period, so remember to dry your hair fully before bed. Get plenty of rest. I'll be sleeping in the bedroom next to yours. Come find me if you need anything." Honestly, Angela was also prepared for more. After all, they were married. She had no reason to feel shy about anything. Still, she exhaled in relief when she heard him volunteering to sleep in a separate bedroom. The bedding had been changed into a freshly laundered set, and the mattress was unbelievably soft. Angela had the best sleep she'd had in a long time. The next morning, Julian woke Angela up. Immediately assuming she'd woken up late for the rehearsal, she yanked the blanket off and hopped out of bed, saying, "I'll get changed right away!" ---- Chuckling, Julian called out to her, "Don't rush. There's still time. We just need to be there at 9:00 am. " The clock showed that it was almost 8:00 am already. Angela couldn't remember the last time she'd slept in for that long. However, Julian didn't feel the need to hurry. He pointed at the plate on the bedside table. "What you need to do now is have breakfast first. I made it myself. It's quite simple, but it should taste alright." Breakfast consisted of two slices of toast, along with some bacon and sausages. Even the warm milk smelled good. "Tf you call this simple, then the breakfast I used to have before work probably isn't even food to you," Angela joked. "You're right about that," Julian said solemnly. "You used to have nothing but coffee and maybe a stale muffin from the convenience store for breakfast just so you could spend more time on work. If I recall correctly, you don't even bother heating up the muffin first." ---- He paid such close attention to her that he knew even the smallest details. Angela didn't think it was all that bad. She did that to save time. However, Julian seemed to care a lot about this. "From now on, I'll be in charge of cooking. You just need to remember to have your meals on time." Even when he made demands, he didn't expect Angela to abide by his wishes completely. He would simply prepare everything in advance and give her the option of whether she wanted to accept his gesture. Yet again, she had no reason to refuse him. Julian had prepared everything for Angela. While she was still asleep, he sent someone to retrieve her things. He even had a few sets of clothing prepared in her size, including the pads she might need for her period. And if all of that had simply been an ordinary yet pleasant surprise, the wedding rehearsal was about to make her jaw drop to the floor. Discover our latest featured short drama reel.
