"Let go of her now!" Noah thundered. Ergon and Valeria couldn't hide how shocked they were at his outburst. "W..what's wrong with you bro? What has gotten into you?" Ergon asked. Noah felt like slapping himself for what he just did. He couldn't tell what was wrong with him or why he was suddenly acting that way, but one thing was sure, he didn't like Ergon holding hands with Valeria. Noah glanced at Valeria, who seemed to be staring at him like he'd gone crazy. Though, he wouldn't blame her if she thought that way. " It's nothing, I'm sorry about that." He apologized, then he left immediately, so as to avoid any further embarrassing cases. "What was that?" Valeria thought. "I'll go to my room now." She said to Ergon. She made to leave, but Ergon held her hand. "Hold on a second." "What?." "You're leaving?" Ergon asked. Valeria frowned. "That's a pretty dumb question to ask Ergon, you just heard me say I was leaving and you're still asking me if I'm leaving." Valeria scoffed. "I just don't want you to leave." He uttered, pouting his lips like a child. Valeria couldn't help but laugh at his reaction, he behaves like a baby most times, but he's still so damn cute, even when he does his childish acts. "Don't be a cry baby Ergon, I need to go get ready," She said, and Ergon furrowed his brow. "Get ready? Get ready for what?" "To see my mom, of course, I can only stay here from Monday to Fridays, but at the weekend I visit my mom." She explained. "Oh, i didn't know." "Well now you do, so just let me go already, I need to go do some packing." She said, pulling her hand away from Ergon's hold. "Can I come with you then?" "What? You can't be serious." "I am, I want to come with you. In fact, I'll take you there myself. I'll be so bored being here all by myself, so please let me come with you." Ergon pleaded, giving her his best puppy eyes. Valeria thought about it for a while, and knowing how much of a pest Ergon was, it'd be useless trying to stop him. "Arrg! Fine then, suit yourself." She said. "Thank you so much." Ergon smiled. "Whatever." Valeria scoffed. And before Ergon could say anything else, she left his room in a hurry. The moment she got into her room and shut the door, someone else suddenly opened the door and walked in. Valeria sharply turned to see who it was, and to her shock it was Noah standing behind her. "Y..y..you." She stuttered, slowly moving back in fear. Noah raised his brow in a questioning manner. He noticed she was slowly moving back in fear, and the fact that she was scared of him like she had seen a ghost didn't sit well with him. "What's wrong with you? Why are you scared of me?" Noah asked. He slowly approached her, but Valeria stopped him. "Stay right there! Don't come any closer!" She said, and Noah stopped dead in his tracks. "P.. please, leave my room right now." She muttered in fright. She was scared of the fact that he might have come to do something bad to her, maybe try to have his way with her like he did Erica. "Oh God, I wish Ergon was here right now." She thought. "You didn't even get to hear me out and you're already chasing me away." Noah said. "I don't want to hear whatever it is you have to say, so please just leave." She pleaded. Noah stared deeply into her eyes, and all he could see was fear. "Are you afraid of me?" Noah asked softly. Valeria swallowed hard "Yes, I'm freaking scared of you!" Valeria mentally thought. "No." She lied. "Then why do I see fear in your eyes? Why do you keep telling me to leave? I just want to talk to you, nothing more." He shrugged. "I've got something to do, and I need to do it right away, so please leave." She said again. Noah sighed. "Fine, I'll leave, but if you promise to let me speak to you later." "Ha! in your dreams!" Valeria uttered in her thoughts "Fine then, we'll talk later." She lied. All she wanted was for him to leave her alone, so she had to lie to make him go away. "Thanks, I'll leave now." Noah smiled at her. He turned to leave, but when he got to the door, he decided to take another look at her. She was indeed very beautiful. He thought, finally banging the door shut behind him. The moment he left, Valeria immediately let out the breath she didn't know she was holding. She sat on her bed, and sighed in relief. "Thank God he's gone." She whispered. ***** Valeria and Ergon finally arrive at her home. Valeria quickly jumped out of the car the moment Ergon parked the car right in front of her house. She ran to the door, and rang the doorbell, but no one came to answer it. She rang the doorbell again, and still her mom didn't come to get to the door. "What's wrong?" Ergon asked, joining her. "I think mom isn't home." She said sadly. "Really? So what are we to do now?" "Don't worry, I've got the keys to the door." She smiled. She took off her backpack, which contained some little clothing she'd be putting on while she was at her mom's, and also their home keys. She searched the bag for the keys, and when she found them, she raised them up to Ergon. "Found it... so now, you hold this." She said, giving him her backpack. She quickly opened the door, and they both went in. "Wow." Ergon muttered as he looked around the room. "You've got a nice home," he complimented. "Thank you." Valeria smiled. "Have a seat, I'll go get us something to snack on while waiting for my mom."
