Valeria stood up to leave but Ergon held her back. "What's wrong? Why're you leaving? We aren't done yet," Valeria suddenly scoffed. " Your presence here irritates me." She blurted out. "Your presence here irritates me." Ergon mimicked what she said and it pissed her off. "Let me go!." She yelled and Ergon retracted, but the minute he saw Jason, he held onto her immediately. He knew Jason wasn't convinced that they were actually dating, so he needed something to convince him. "My love, I will see you around, okay? You can go ahead, I'll meet you later." He uttered, surprising her. "What's..." "Play along." He muttered. She turned around and was shocked to see Jason. That was when she understood what he was trying to do. "Okay babe, see you later." She smiled pretentiously, thinking it was all over. Suddenly, Ergon grabbed her and he kissed her lips in haste. That totally took Valeria unaware. "What the fu..." Her statement was cut short when he pulled her into his arms. She stood on her toes to take a peek over Ergon's shoulders. She saw Jason, whose gazes were intensely on them. She smiled at him and he reciprocated. "I'll kill you." She muttered between gritted teeth. Ergon had just taken her first kiss. "I'm yours, baby, do whatever you wish," Ergin whispered, still holding on to her. "Is he gone?" Ergon asked, since he had his back to Jason. She took another glance towards Jason's direction but discovered that he was gone. "Get off me!." She pushed him away, but instead, he smiled. "You're so cute when you're angry." He chuckled. To be sincere, she kind of finds him attractive. "Oh no Valeria, you're too young for this." She mentally thought, cautioning herself. She glared at him and left. The moment he began laughing at her like he had gone crazy, thereby bringing other students' attention their way. "What!!" He asked and they immediately averted their gazes from him. "Better." He scoffed, and left. ***** 4 Hours Later.... Lots of cars could be seen packed around the school environment with drivers waiting to take the students home. Valeria stepped outside of her classroom and went to the parking lot to find the driver who had taken her to school. She was wondering how she'd be able to locate her new workplace, since she was't really familiar with her new environment. It was obvious the driver wasn't coming. "Valeria." She heard someone call her name. She quickly turned around and saw the driver who had driven her to school earlier. "Kingsley!" She smiled. They became quite familiar with one another, since he told her his name, and he specifically told her to call him Kingsley, since he wasn't that old. She scurried over to him, while he was smiling at her. "I'm here to pick you up, get in." Kingsley uttered. Valeria immediately got into the car. Now she will rest for a while because she was tired and needed rest. Surprisingly, after she left the basketball court she did not see Ergon for the day. "Don't be mistaken, I'm not really interested or concerned about him." She assured herself, falling in love at a young age doesn't really end well. Kingsley drove out of the school premises and he drove down the road. ****** They walked into the mansion, but this time, she didn't really stare around admiring the place, she just walked directly into the mansion. She was feeling quite hungry and tired. Class was indeed hectic for her. Kingsley had already left for his two-hour break according to what he told her. They both had a friendly conversation while he was driving her home. The moment she got to the living room, she met Erica cleaning the floors. "Erica!" She called out. Erica turned around and she smiled when she saw it was Valeria. "You're back. I was waiting for you all day. Though you just started today, I was already used to having you around." She smiled and that almost made Valeria blush. That was the first time she had received such kind words from someone that wasn't her mum. Talking about her mum, she was sure her mom would be so worried about her by now. Sadly enough, she didn't have any means to communicate with her mum. "Hey, are you okay?" Erica asked when she noticed Valeria wasn't paying attention. "I'm sorry, I was just thinking of something," Valeria smiled. "Do you know you're attending the same college as Ma'am Shiella's son?" Erica asked and she nodded. "Did you see him at school today?" "Even if I did, I wouldn't recognize him because I don't know him." "Oh my bad, he's at home already, but I guess he's busy playing video games, just like he always does." Valeria smiled, even though she wasn't interested in what Erica was saying because she wasn't there for gossip. "I'm sorry Valeria, come with me, I almost forgot you just came back," Erica took the bucket of water and mop along with her. Valeria trailed behind her and they both went to the maids' quarters. "I already kept your food in your room. When you're done eating, be sure to come assist me in the kitchen, okay?" Valeria gave her the expression of , "where is the kitchen?" "Oh I'm sure you can't find your way to the kitchen." Valeria nodded with a smile. She was tired of Erica's talk because she was hungry. She guessed she should get used to her with time. "Just go to the living room, the kitchen is on your left, or you can ask anyone for directions." Erica said and left. Valeria sighed in relief and went back into her room. The sweet aroma of the food prepared for her welcomed her. She felt her stomach rumble just by staring at the food which was neatly covered in a tray on the stool close to her bed. "I'm so hungry." She rushed to the food and she uncovered it. She hadn't eaten all day and, besides, the food in the cafeteria was too expensive, so she thought of saving the little money she had. She salivated and licked her lips. She couldn't wait to dig into the food already.
