"Where's Liam Wright?" Cassandra asked. The training yesterday did not go as planned because Liam had something to do. "He'll be here in a minute," Oliver said, who seemed to be out of his mind. Cassandra left her and went to her friends sitting in the corner of Sebastian's training ground. "So, where's Liam, Cassy?" Lisanna asked and took a cookie from a box. She handed the box to Abegail and Cassandra while eating hers. "Oliver said he's already coming," Casandra answered. After a moment, Liam arrived with Jet Crane – one of their friends. "What is Jet Crane doing in here!?" Lisanna asked while frowning. She glared at the boy and took a bite of the cookie in her hand. Cassandra looked at her, confused. "I hate him!" Lisanna whispered, yelled. "I want to throw him back to the coven!" she added. Unfortunately, the boy that Lisanna hated in Wizardry Class was Jet Crane. "You're here too, Lisanna!" Jet said and smiled. Lisanna rolled her eyes at her, which made Cassandra laugh. "Hi baby, I'm Jet Crane at your service. You are?" Jet said, then winked at Cassandra. He took her hand and kissed the back of her palm. Cassandra pulled her hand back and awkwardly smiled. "Cassandra," Cassandra replied. Jet's smile instantly vanished, and he went pale while Liam was laughing beside him. "Shit! Are you Cassandra Louise Reese?" Jet asked. When Cassandra nodded her head, Je cursed once again. "Oh, fuck! I'm doomed," he added. Liam and Oliver burst into a fit of laughter, seeing Jet's devastated expression. Cassandra and her friends looked at them weirdly. "Okay, what the hell is happening here?" Abegail whispered. "Hi, I'm Liam Wright," Liam introduced himself. Cassandra smiled and took his hand. She glanced at Jet, who's still pale, and chuckled. "What happened to him? Cassandra asked and pointed to Jet. "Don't mind that crazy idiot," Liam said. "Sebastian said if he'd make a move on you. He will beat him to death when he returns," he added. Cassandra shook her head and grinned. She suddenly missed her mate. "Don't worry, Jet. I won't tell Sebastian," Cassandra said. Jet's face lit up; he quickly went to Cassandra and smiled widely. "Really!? You really are an angel, Cassandra!" Jet said, like a kid given candy. "Cassy, if I were you, I will tell Sebastian and beat this guy," Lisanna said. Jet glared at her. "Mean!" Jet said while pouting his lips, and they all laughed at him. "Okay, guys, that's enough. Let's start the training," Oliver said. Cassandra breathed profoundly and watched Liam. "Let's do this," her wolf said. Cassandra closed her eyes. Her bones began cracking and snapping. She could feel her fans elongated and fur growing. Cassandra landed on all fours, fully transformed into her wolf form. "Whoa!" Cassandra heard them cheered. Liam smirked and transformed into his humongous black wolf. "You ready, Cass?" Liam asked through the link. "Hell yeah!" Cassandra and her wolf both said at the same time. Liam started to move, slowly circling her. He suddenly growled and pounce at Cassandra; she dodges and attacks him. She jumped on Liam's back and was about to bite him, but he thrashed around, causing Cassandra to fall on his back. She tried attacking again and successfully bit his shoulder. Liam hissed. They both jumped in the air and crashed, trying to tear each other's faces. Liam managed to bit her back, Cassandra hissed in pain. The two took a step back. She readied herself once again and lunged at Liam. They both rolled on the ground. Growling and snarling, Cassandra bit his shoulder. Liam fought back and bit her legs; he couldn't help but smile. "Good job, Cass," he said through the link. Cassandra smiled, "You too," she answered. Oliver stood up and put himself between them. "I'm sorry, Liam, but Cassy is the winner in this round," Oliver said while chuckling. Liam sneered at him and smiled. She looked at him, knowing that Liam let her win. "Go change," Oliver said. Cassandra, in her wolf form, went to a big tree. Abegail followed her and put her clothes on the ground. She breathed and focused. Cassandra quickly wore her clothes when she transformed back to her human form. When she got back inside, she saw Liam joking with his friends. "Congrats!" Liam said. Cassandra rolled her eyes at him but smiled; she will definitely win. She may be the winner in the fight today, but she was not satisfied because she knew Liam didn't give it his all. When they fight again, she will make sure that he'd use all of his strength. "You were good out there, Cassy!" Lisanna happily said. "Not really," Cassandra said. Her wounds on her shoulder and thigh are fully healed, thanks to her body's regenerative ability. The werewolves' injuries were quickly recovered. "Humble," Abegail said, holding a bucket of fries. Cassandra chuckled and threw fries on her face. "Cassy, that was a good fight," Oliver said. "I'll spar with you later. You have to rest first," he added. Cassandra only nodded her head. "Where's Joana? I can only see Judith and Krystal with you," Cassandra heard Lisanna asked Jet. "She's not here," Jet said. "She went to the Council because she was being called," he added. Cassandra froze and turned her head slowly. "What did you say!?" Cassandra angrily asked. "Whoa! Chill, Cass!" Jet said, raising his hands in the air. "She's in the Council!? So it means she's with Sebastian right now!?" Cassandra said while huffing. "Damn! I swear to Moon Goddess I will fucking beat him it comes back!" she added angrily. Her friends laughed. "Amazona," Cassandra heard Liam whispered. "Actually, Sebastian doesn't know about Joana going to Council," Liam said. "Even so! I will really strangle him!" Cassandra said, annoyed, and left the training ground without saying anything to her friends. "Poor Master," Jet muttered while watching Cassandra stormed off. In the Council's main hall, Sebastian walked around waiting for his friend to appear. "Sebastian," Xiara greeted. Sebastian bowed his head. "It's nice to see you, Sebastian. Are you looking for Keith?" she asked. She's Xiara Raven, the newest member of the Council. She was the one who took over her father's position after retiring. Xiara is a mage. "Yes, Lady Xiara," Sebastian said. "Come with me. I will bring you to him," Xiara said while smiling. Without talking, Sebastian followed Xiara until they stopped into a room. Xiara knocked and slowly opened the door. Sebastian saw Keith comfortably sitting on his chair while his eyes were closed. "Keith, Sebastian's here," Xiara muttered, and after bringing him to Keith, she walked away. Keith opened his eyes. "Sebastian, my friend!" Keith said while smiling. He walked towards him, and the two hugged each other. Keith is his childhood friend and a fairy. "How are you?" he asked. Sebastian sat on the chair while Keith went to his own seat. "I'm okay, Keith. How about you, bro, how are you?" Sebastian asked. When he went here the last time, Keith wasn't around and is on vacation. "I'm fine, bro. So, what brings you here?" Keith seriously asked. Sebastian breathed deeply and started talking about his hunch and everything that happened. "What the hell!? Are you sure about it?" Keith asked; he couldn't believe it. "I'm not sure, bro, but my gut's telling me that there's a traitor inside the Council," Sebastian said. "That's a big accusation you got there, bro," Keith said. Sebastian closed his eyes. Keith is a member of the Council for years now, and he could totally understand him. "So, what do you want me to do?" Keith asked. "I need to investigate," Sebastian confessed. "Tell Elijah you invited me here as your guest. Don't worry. I will stay for two three days," he added. Keith let out a sigh. "Okay. I'll tell Elijah, and I will prepare your room," Keith said. Sebastian smiled and thanked him. He went out of Keith's office and began to roam around to investigate. He reached the West Wing and walked until he arrived in the Council's dining hall. "Marie," Sebastian said with a smile. Marie cried; she went to him and hugged him tightly. "Sebastian, my boy! How are you!?" Marie asked. She went to the kitchen, and Sebastian followed him. "I'm okay, Marie. How about you?" Sebastian asked. Marie glanced at him while holding a tray and smiled. Sebastian was glad that Marie was okay here in the Council. "You looked happy, my boy. Who's the lucky girl?" Marie asked. Sebastian smiled and suddenly thought of Cassandra. "Her name is Cassandra. She's beautiful and amazing, Marie," Sebastian said. "I bet she is," Marie said while grinning. Marie is a vampire, she was working in the Blood's castle, and she was the one who took care of Sebastian, but Gabriel brought her to the Council with him. Since then, he sees Marie as much as she wants. "You really grew into a fine man, Sebastian," Marie sadly said. Sebastian chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Now, get out and help me prepare," she added. Sebastian followed what she ordered and helped her. A man went inside, wearing a crest on his clothes. He was one of Elijah's men. "All of you should head to the Main Hall," the man said. Sebastian looked at Marie. "Go ahead, Sebastian. I'll follow you," Marie said. Sebastian went out and followed the man. They arrived in the main hall. The Council's members were scattered around the room. Sebastian saw Joana together with Redwoods while Elijah was standing in front. He suddenly waved his hand, and everyone went silent. "I want to announce to all of you the marriage between Joana Redwood and Sebastian Blood," Elijah said. Sebastian froze on the ground. The members cheered, and Joana led it. Marie held Sebastian's hand. He clenched his hand into a fist and glared at Elijah. "What is this, Elijah? What are you planning?" Sebastian whispered. He hurriedly left the main hall and went to Keith's room. "What the fuck, Keith!?" Sebastian yelled after locking the door. "What's the deal with Elijah!? Do you know something about it?" he added angrily. "Whoa! Easy Sebastian," Keith said. "I don't know anything about it. I don't know what's got into Elijah's mind," he added. Sebastian slumped on the chair. "Fick! I already found my other half, Keith. I can't marry Joana!" Sebastian confessed. Keith's jaw dropped. He suddenly took the glass of wine beside him and drank it. "Well, fuck. That's a big problem. What will you do now?" Keith asked nervously. "Will you disobey the Council? You know their tough enemies to fight," he added. Sebastian couldn't help but glare at him. "I will do everything in my power to stop this marriage, Keith. I don't want to hurt my mate," Sebastian said. The thought of Cassandra crying because of him, he couldn't bear it. "Help me, Keith," he added determinedly. Keith looked at him and heaved a sigh. "I owe my life to you, Sebastian," Keith mumbled. "I will help you to the extent of my power, but we need more allies," he added. Sebastian pinched the bridge of his nose, thinking of the problems that kept arising. If only he could beat Elijah to death, he will gladly do it. "Leave it to me," Sebastian said. He went out of his office and walked to the room that Keith prepared for him. Sebastian quickly saw Joana standing outside, waiting for him. "What are you doing in here?" Sebastian coldly said. Joana smiled and hugged him. "Sebby! We are going to get married soon. I'm so happy!" Joana said. Sebastian removed her arms around him. It was only her that was happy by the marriage announcement but not Sebastian. "The marriage will not happen, Joana. Go away!" Sebastian said and went inside his room. He lay on the bed and called Oliver. "How is she?" Sebastian asked. "She's okay, bro, and she's doing great," Oliver replied that brought a smile to his face. Sebastian really misses his mate right now. He wanted to kiss and hug her. "You okay?" Oliver asked on the other line. "Yeah. Just had a tough day," Sebastian answered and closed his eyes. "He's awake. The Lord is awake." Sebastian heard voices talking just outside his room. He slowly got up and went to the door to listen to the conversation they were having. "What should we do?" the voice asked. "Let's wait for his orders," the man said. It went quiet after a minute. Sebastian was sure that the men already left, but many questions were bugging in his mind that needed answers. For instance, who is the Lord they were talking about?
