"What the hell did you say? Ghouls!?" Cassandra whispered, yelled. "I thought they vanished after the war of supernatural?" she added, confused. Sebastian grabbed her hands and dragged her into hiding in one of the gravestones around. "Yes, that's the truth," Sebastian said and squeezed her hand. "The King of the wolves with his witch ally sent them to the depths of darkness, never to return," he added. "If that's the truth, then why are they here?" Cassandra asked. "I don't know, love unless…" Sebastian couldn't finish his sentence when a loud inhumane growl erupted in the cemetery. "Fuck! I will tell you about my hunch later, but please stay here for now," Sebastian said and kissed her forehead. He went out of their hiding place and ran. Cassandra began to count sheep on her mind waiting for her lover to come back. She paused and counted for minutes, but there was no sign of Sebastian anywhere. Annoyed, she punched the headstone but apologized after. "I swear to Moon Goddess, if you aren't back in three minutes, I will follow you," Cassandra mumbled to herself. She stood up when someone suddenly covered her mouth. Her heart beat faster, and she tried removing the hand from her mouth. Cassandra panicked. "Love! It's me," a voice said. Cassandra breathed a sigh of relief. She faced Sebastian and threw a punch that landed on his shoulder. "You scare me!" Cassandra angrily said. She feared for her life and thought it was the end. "What happened?" she asked and fixed his wrinkled shirt. "I already led it to the farthest side of the cemetery," Sebastian said and held her hand. "We need to go back to Academia. It's dangerous out here," he added. Together, the two started walking back to the entrance. A loud growl coming from the ghoul once erupted. "Oh god, don't tell me that he has friends nearby!?" Cassandra said and tightly held onto Sebastian. "Fuck! We need to go faster," Sebastian said, beads of sweat were falling down his place's white face. Suddenly, a ghoul jumped in front of them and roared. Cassandra couldn't help but gasp. Sharp teeth, long sharp claws about 6ft tall. A very hideous and scary creature that eats humans and vampires, werewolves, faeries, and witches' flesh. A ghoul, one of Ikrur's loyal animals. "I have to fight it. Stay back, hon. I will handle this," Sebastian said and pushed Cassandra behind him. "What? Are you crazy!?" Cassandra shouted. She knew Sebastian could handle the ghoul alone, but she wanted to help him. "I don't want you to hog all the fun part, babe. Let's fight it together," she added. Her fear vanished, knowing that she had Sebastian on her side. The ghoul snarled, ready to attack them, while Sebastian readied himself to defend. Cassandra quickly turned back and took her clothes off. She transformed into a humongous gray wolf. "Beautiful," Sebastian said, admiring his mate's wolf and totally forgotten the ghoul in front of him. Cassandra's wolf purred, liking what Sebastian has said. "Oh my gosh! This is not the right time to flirt with him. Focus!" Ella scolded her wolf, but regardless she was feeling giddy inside. "Focus, Blood!" Cassandra said on the mind link. The ghoul jumped at Sebastian and tried tearing his face off. She quickly lunged at it and bit his shoulder. The ghoul thrashed around. Sebastian attacked him, throwing a powerful punch that the ghoul's face. "He tastes like shit!" Cassandra uttered and spat the ghoul's flesh. His flesh smells like rotten meat. Sebastian raises his hand, and a tree went flying to the ghoul's place. Cassandra jumped once again and bit him to the neck. The ghoul growled and scratched her with his long sharp claws. She whimpered to the ground. "Shit! Are you okay?" Sebastian worriedly asked. He lifted Cassandra in her wolf form and made her leaned on the gravestone. She had big claw marks on the back of her body. "I will end this," Sebastian said, his expression darkened. "You dare hurt my girl!? I will fucking dice you into mincemeat," he added angrily. His eyes changed their color into bloodlust red. It sent shivers down to Cassandra's spine. It was different from Sebastian she was with earlier; he looks powerful, scary, and dangerous. "Perveslo," Sebastian muttered. Suddenly, the ghoul roared like he was being hit. "Patore shatom," he said. The ghoul screamed while Sebastian smiled evilly, watching the ghoul thrashed in agony. He raised his hand in the air, and the wind blew strongly. "Death," Sebastian slowly said, and then the ghoul suddenly stopped moving. He looked at me and smiled before he lost his consciousness. Cassandra shifted back into her human form; she wore her clothes and approached Sebastian with her aching back. "Sebastian! Wake up!" Cassandra said while panicking. Sebastian's eyes and nose were bleeding. "Please, wake up!" she added while slowly slapping his face. He opened his eyes and stared at her. "What the hell happened to you!? I was so scared when you suddenly lost consciousness!" Cassandra said and sobbed. "You made me worried!" she added. Sebastian chuckled and wiped the tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry, love. I just needed rest, and it will go away," Sebastian said, but Cassandra was not convinced. "You need to drink blood," Cassandra seriously said while Sebastian avoided her gaze. "Drink my blood," Cassandra said, but Sebastian shook his head. "Please, you need to drink to restore your strength," she added. He heaved a sigh and slowly sat up. Cassandra offered her bare neck to him. Sebastian gulped at the sight and slowly leaned forward until Cassandra could feel his warm breath fanning on her neck. He sank his fangs and slowly drank her blood. She couldn't help but moan at the fantastic sensation. Cassandra felt dizzy, but she couldn't push him away. She needs more of him. "Shit! I'm so sorry, love! I drank too much. Fuck! Your blood is fucking delicious," Sebastian muttered. Nodding was Casandra's short response to him as she could feel the tiredness came to her. "Sleep well, princess." It was the last thing Cassandra heard before she succumbs to a deep slumber. Cassandra woke up with a raging headache and a dry throat, "Water," she muttered. Sebastian appeared with a glass of water in his hand. She quickly took it and drank it in one go. "What happened earlier?" Cassandra asked. Sebastian sat beside her and patted her head gently. "It's one of my power," Sebastian said. "When I try to use it, my body weakens. That's why I tried avoiding it," he added. "But why did you used it?" Cassandra asked. "When I saw you with claw marks, all I could see was bloodlust. I wanted to kill the ghoul," Sebastian confessed. Cassandra doesn't know any of this, but Sebastian is the second vampire in history to have wielded four powers. "Then, don't do it again," Cassandra said, earning a nod from Sebastian. "I prepared food for you, love. Let's eat," Sebastian said. Cassandra smiled, she went to stand up, but he stopped her. He went out, and when he got back, he was holding a tray of food. Cassandra's mouth water as she could feel her stomach grumble. "Gosh! I'm so full," Cassandra said while rubbing her stomach. Sebastian chuckled and began cleaning the plates she used. When he finished, he sat beside her. "I'm sorry," Sebastian said and held her hand. Cassandra smiled and ruffled his jet black and soft hair. "It's nothing. What happened to the ghoul?" Cassandra asked and leaned on him. "Dead. I already reported it to the council, and they took the ghoul's body to examine. That's what they only said to me," Sebastian muttered. "You told me about your hunch. What about it?" Cassandra asked. Sebastian glanced around and clicked his fingers. "What is this?" Cassandra asked, seeing that her place became dark. "I created a space for the two of us to talk privately. I don't trust anyone outside," Sebastian said. Cassandra raised her eyebrows at him. "I told you earlier, right? Ghouls vanished to the depths of darkness and will never return," Sebastian said. Cassandra nodded her head. "They will never return unless the seal binding set by the witches and wizards was broken," he added. "The witches and wizards are the traitors?" Cassandra couldn't help but ask. "I don't think so. The witches and wizards who sealed the ghouls and other loyal followers of Ikrur had entered into eternal sleep," Sebastian said. Cassandra's forehead creased. If what Sebastian said was the truth, then there's only one faction who could become the traitor. "You mean!?" "Yes, you are right, love," Sebastian said, confirming what she was about to say. "Oh, god! The council!?" Cassandra yelled. It's a good thing they are in the space Sebastian created. She could freely speak without being wary of the place. "I'm not sure, but my gut was telling me so," Sebastian said. "I will investigate further," he added, determined. "Are you fucking out of your mind!? What if you'll get hurt!?" Cassandra angrily said. "I'm going to keep safe, love. I need to do this," Sebastian said. As the next in line, King; had a huge responsibility not only to his people but also to other races. Sebastian wanted to change people's perspectives about vampires. "Please watch the Academia. Report to me once you saw something suspicious. Can I count on you on that matter?" Sebastian asked. Cassandra nodded her head as a response. "Promise me you'll be careful," she begged. "I promise. Let's go back." Sebastian took her hand and smiled at her. With one wave of his hand, they're already back to the real world.
