Care For Her Until The End BEFORE DINNER* WADE* Connor had come back from retrieving Taylor from the office alone and had told me about her plan of talking to her mom first. My heart fluttered and warmed at the thought that Taylor was now protecting me the best she knew how. I was more nervous about telling her dad than I had been about telling Blaze the news. I was somewhat upset when Connor had been honest in telling me that he and Taylor had had sex without me. But quickly got over it because most likely, we would have our chances of being alone with Taylor more often than all of us being together. We would need to be careful; we didn't need to subject Mark to our arrangement. "I know Taylor hasn't lived in her apartment for long, but we need to think about what we are going to do about our living arrangements. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be away from her. Taylor is going to need our help with Mark. We need something with at least four rooms and an office. Too bad Tanner and Kaysen have already moved into their new home. The house they were renting is surely off the market by now; it would have been perfect," Connor said as he grabbed some beers from the refrigerator. "Maybe we could have Tanner get us in touch with the realtor they used, and they could help us. I'll work on that come Monday since I'll be off for a week," I said as I pulled the tab of my beer and took a few gulps. "Sounds good to me. Now let's talk about your proposal; that needs to be done pretty quick, don't you think," Connor said as he started up the PlayStation to play Destiny. "You are right; maybe we should go in search of a ring instead of sitting here killing time. Taylor is essentially marrying both of us, so we should both propose to her. I don't want to deny you that happiness; Taylor is yours as well. I just happened to be the one who got her pregnant," Connor smiled and turned off the game. "That's a fantastic idea, Wade. Thank you for giving me that chance. Let's go pick out a ring," Connor said, and we abandoned our beers and went to the mall. Surely we would find something at one of the three jewelry stores they have there. *** After going to two jewelry stores and not finding what we were looking for, Connor and I were about ready to give up. However, we thought maybe the third time would be the charm, so we made our way through the mall to the last remaining jewelry store. "That's it," Connor and I said in unison as we came across a beautiful rose gold band with three round diamonds. The ring was gorgeous, and we knew that Taylor would love it. As luck would have it, the store had her ring size in stock. Connor and I were surprised because Taylor has such tiny fingers. I paid for the ring, which was close to nine thousand dollars, and we headed back to our apartment. We got home just in time for Taylor to message Connor telling him she was on her way with Mark to pick us up. *** Connor and I were surprised that Luke was being so carefree about all that had transpired. I waited for that moment when Luke would pull Connor and me aside and rip us a new one, but that moment never came. We all sat down and had a wonderful dinner, then sat in the living room and chatted for a while about when the wedding would be held. We had a choice between getting married in three weeks or waiting four months. So we decided on getting married in three weeks; no way were we going to wait four months. Taylor drove us back to our place so Connor and I could grab some clothes and left to get Mark home and ready for bed. We packed clothes and toiletries into our backpacks, grabbed our helmets, and left. It had been a while since either one of us had ridden our Harley's, and we were both feeling on top of the world. I knocked on the door "go ahead and come in. It's unlocked," Taylor yelled, and then I heard her yelling at Mark. "If you don't get over here by the count of five, I'm taking your tablet away for a week," Taylor yelled. I walked in to see that Mark was running around in the living room naked as the day he was born with two unraveled toilet paper rolls trailing behind him. Toilet paper was wrapped around the couch, armchair, and side table; it was a mess. "Hey buddy, time to fly like Superman," I said as I scooped Mark up. Taylor looked like she was about to throw up, and Connor walked in just as she clapped a hand to her mouth and ran for the bathroom. "What in the world happened here," Connor said as he chuckled at the sight before him. "I saw it on youtube, and I had to try it, but I am Superman now," Mark called back as I whisked him away to his room to get him dressed for bed. I looked back to see that Connor was going in to check on Taylor, and I sighed with relief. We had to find another place to live and quick. CONNOR* I pulled Taylors thick Auburn locks back from her face as she dry heaved into the toilet. Nothing was coming up, but I could tell she wasn't feeling well. I grabbed a hair tie that was conveniently lying on top of the counter where I could reach it and put her hair up into a messy bun, and rubbed her back. "I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, babe. Is there anything I can get you besides a wet rag?" "I'm not sick, Connor. I'm pregnant. I think I'll be ok; Mark was just all over the place, and I couldn't catch him. I was running around in circles, and I just got dizzy, is all. I'll be ok. I have some ginger tea bags in one of the drawers in the kitchen. Could you possibly boil me some water, please? I just need to sit here for a moment," Taylor said. I got up and bent down to kiss her on the cheek and grabbed a rag to dampen it for her in case she needed it. "I'll be right back with your tea, love," I said as I left and walked towards the kitchen. I glanced in on Wade and Mark to see that Wade had gotten Mark dressed for bed and was reading a Superman comic out loud to him. Mark had closed his eyes and looked to be fast asleep. Wade is a natural when it comes to kids; I'm the one who is going to need to spruce up my parenting skills. Perhaps it's a good thing Wade got Taylor pregnant first. I walked to the kitchen and filled the kettle with water, placed the kettle on the burner, and turned it to high heat. Then I walked into the living room and began picking up all of the toilet tissue that was draped over and around all of the furniture and put it all in one giant pile. Then walked over to the cupboard to grab a trash bag and started shoving all of the toilet paper in the garbage bag. I took it out to the dumpster, and when I got back, the water was done boiling, so I took it off the burner. I found where the glasses were and got a coffee mug, and searched the drawers for the tea bags. Once I found them, I put one bag in the mug and poured water onto the top of it. Then made my way back to Taylor. Wade had gotten done putting Mark to sleep and was in the bathroom sitting with Taylor on the floor. I was thankful Wade tended to Taylor while I cleaned and prepared her tea. I handed Taylor her tea and then sat down on the other side of her. "Connor, Wade, you both are a Godsend. I wish we could have been together this whole time. It's going to take all of us to get through this. I am truly blessed to have you both in my life," Taylor said, then blew on her tea and took a quick sip. "Perfect, thank you, Connor; thank you, Wade, for getting Mark to bed. Just wait until Monday when we are all running around like crazy people trying to get ready for work, then you'll be wondering how I ever make it to work on time," Taylor said as she chuckled, then took another sip from her tea. "I will be getting in contact with Tanner's realtor on Monday to see about finding us all a home; I could help out by taking Mark to school if you would like," Wade said as he rubbed Taylors back, and I massaged her knee. "That would be great thank you so much, the morning sickness is starting to kick in, so I may need all of the help I can get. Also, Blaze should be contacting you to come back to work sooner. I told him there was no way we could make it without you with everything we have going on right now. I would go ahead and take Monday off, though, since you have made plans. We need a bigger place to live; this tiny apartment won't last long. There is only one bathroom on top of everything, and that just won't do," Taylor said. "Let's get out of this bathroom and go get comfy on the couch, what do you say," I said as I got up and lent a hand to Taylor to help her up, and Wade grabbed her mug. "Yes, that would probably be a good idea; I don't feel nauseous anymore," Taylor said as she grabbed my hand, and I pulled her up and held her hips to keep her steady. TAYLOR* I gasped as Connor, Wade, and I walked into the living room. All of the toilet paper had been picked up, and the furniture had been straightened. I was expecting for us all to walk in and have to deal with the task of cleaning up together. It was then that I realized I wasn't alone anymore. I had two men who loved me, who would protect me and care for me for the rest of our lives. Wade had obviously gotten Mark to bed, and Connor had made me tea and cleaned the living room, then they had both come to check on me to make sure I was ok when I felt sick. "Here, baby, sit down and drink your tea. Connor and I will be back shortly," Wade said. I sipped my tea and put some instrumental music on that played quietly in the background, and tried my best to relax; as I waited for Connor and Wade to return. I looked to my wall clock to see that fifteen minutes had passed, and I wondered what was taking them so long to return. Another fifteen minutes passed before I heard the doorknob turn and Wade and Connor walked in carrying a half dozen roses a piece. They must have walked down to Market Street United, that was a few blocks away. Were they both about to propose? I was glad that I had turned on some music; it made for the perfect setting. Connor and Wade knelt before me and handed me their bouquet of roses, and I melted. Connor retrieved a jewelry box from his pocket and gave it to Wade. I pinched my arm to ensure I wasn't dreaming; I couldn't believe that this was actually happening. I looked back and forth between them and the bouquet of roses and smiled so widely I thought I might get a cramp in my cheeks. "Taylor, we have loved you since we were six years old, and you walked onto the playground in your pigtails; we were all inseparable from that moment on," Wade said. "You have always been the love of our lives; we were lost without you. The last seventeen years have been excruciating not having you in our lives. Working with you was not enough, but now here we are, and we will never betray you or leave you again," Connor said, and he and Wade both grasped hold of the jewelry box. "Together, we will love, care and cherish you. Together we will protect you. Together we will provide and build a family with you. Together we will provide and spoil you and our family for the rest of our lives. Would you, Taylor Mason make us the luckiest men on earth and become Mrs. Cunningham? Will you marry us?" Wade and Connor said in unison as Connor opened the jewelry box and presented the ring to me.
