TAYLOR* I couldn't help but chuckle lightly when I got inside the bathroom. Wade had gone and gotten ten pregnancy tests, and this one I grabbed had three tests inside. Either way, I would be taking those back with the receipt in the morning. I bet the cashier had a good laugh after Wade had left the store and anyone else who might have been there at the time. I opened the box and took each test out of the wrapper, and laid them on the counter. I was relieved that those beers I had drunk had kicked in; I needed to pee something fierce. I did my business, then cleaned my hands and looked down at the tests. Well, it seems like none of us would be getting any sleep tonight; each test flashed pregnant on the screen. I grabbed a towel and some toilet paper and placed each test on the towel, then disposed of the toilet paper I had used to pick each one up. I opened the door and walked across the hall to my room; Connor and Wade were waiting for me in the doorway. Oh My Goodness, what would I do if they both passed out? "Well, it looks as if I'm pregnant. All three tests have confirmed it," I said as I lifted the towel so Wade and Connor could see the tests. My brain registered that I was pregnant, and suddenly, I got the urge to throw up. I clapped a hand to my mouth, ran to the bathroom, and threw up everything I had eaten earlier. It wouldn't seem to end. Connor walked in and grabbed a rag and ran it under some water as Wade gathered my hair in his hand and gently rubbed my back with his other hand. Once I was done, Connor brought me up into his lap and pressed the wet rag to my burning skin, and wiped the sweat and tears from my face. "It's going to be ok, baby; I love you; I'll make this right, I promise," Wade mumbled as he grabbed and massaged the palm of my left hand. "Let's get to bed and revisit everything in the morning after we have all slept," Connor said, and Wade stood up and lent me his hand. I brushed my teeth and splashed some water on my face as Connor and Wade stood by to make sure I was ok. I guess they were afraid I might throw up again. It's probably a good thing I expelled all of the alcohol I had drunk tonight; I instantly felt terrible for drinking even though I hadn't known I was pregnant at the time. Wade picked me up bridal style and carried me over to the bed, then laid me down, undressed, then crawled up behind me. He placed his hand on my belly and kissed my neck. Then Connor crawled up into bed and nestled into me. I laid my head on his chest and draped my arm and leg over him, and sighed. "Go to sleep, my love; tomorrow is a brand new day. You have no need to worry about anything," Wade whispered into my ear and ran his hand through my hair. The gesture soothed me until I drifted off into a seamless sleep. WADE* When life gives you lemons, make lemonade; isn't that how the saying goes. I knew as soon as I had seen that the condom had broken, Taylor would be pregnant. I have had a few sleepless nights over the last three weeks; as I tossed and turned worrying about it. With Aaron out there, anything could happen. I knew she was pregnant somehow, and I was afraid Aaron would harm her and that Connor and I would lose her. I could rest peacefully now, though, knowing that he's gone and Taylor is safe with us. Also, knowing that she's pregnant and I wouldn't have to obsess over knowing for sure anymore helped a great deal. I never thought I would ever have a chance to be a father. After seeing Blaze, Tanner, and Jace with their families over the last five years, having a family of my own has become something I've longed for. Now I was going to be blessed with everything I could ever want or need, and Connor would be with me through it all. There were only two things that plagued my mind now, and that was Blaze and Taylor's father, Luke. I knew that Taylor's mom would be thrilled along with our parents, who have been happily married for almost forty years now. But Blaze and Luke were both going to flip a lid. I know that we all couldn't hide our relationship much longer, though. We would need to let everyone know that Taylor and I were together and expecting a baby. I feel bad that Connor would be left out of all that happiness, but he has assured me that he is OK with the way things are. Taylor and I would be married, and we would all live together and be together in secret. No one would need to know the full extent of our relationship. Mark would probably connect the dots when he got older, but we could jump that hurdle later when the time comes. I was lost in my thoughts then realized I was the only one awake; I willed myself fall asleep. I don't know how much time passed, but eventually, I laid my hand back on Taylor's belly and fell asleep to dreams of us altogether and happy. *** "I feel like we should go ahead and get everything out in the open. We need to tell Blaze that you two are together and that Taylor is pregnant. I think waiting to tell him would only piss him off more. Then we need to tell your parents, Taylor," Connor said as he drove us towards Denys. "I was thinking the same thing last night. We are all supposed to meet up with Blaze in a couple of hours to help him put up fliers. I say we all show up together and let the cat out of the bag. Then we could all go pick Mark up together later and tell Luke and Samantha. Would you be ok with that, love?" I asked Taylor as I massaged her shoulders from the back seat. "Yes, the anxiety of how everyone is going to react is about to do me in. I want to get it over with. My mom has been bugging me to get into a relationship with one of you, so I know she's going to be thrilled. It's how my dad and Blaze will react that gives me pause. Connors right, though; the longer we wait, the worse it would be. So yes, let's go ahead and tell everyone," Taylor said, then sighed. "Taylor, Wade, and I have plenty of money saved up as well as investment income coming in monthly. So if something happens and we all lose our jobs over this, know that we will all be ok. We will all make it through this; I promise you that," Connor said as he reached over and squeezed Taylor's hand. "What happens when you both get bored of me? When you both decide you need more? This is all fantasy; how is this all going to work? Aaron and I were together ten years, five of those he cheated on me continuously. I don't know what I would do if either of you did that to me as well. I don't know how this is going to work," Taylor said as her eyes welled up with tears. Connor pulled the truck over when we approached a park. Put the truck in park, climbed out of the truck, ran over to the passenger side, opened the door, unbuckled Taylor's seatbelt and gently pulled Taylor from the truck, and hugged her. I opened my door and jumped down from the truck, and joined in for a group hug. "Taylor, you are all that we have ever wanted. We couldn't have you, so we improvised. Now that we have you, we would never want anyone else; ever do you understand," Connor said as he wiped the tears from Taylor's eyes. "You are our world, our everything, we will forever be yours and only yours," I said as I kissed her softly on the lips. Taylor nodded, and we all got back into the truck. *** The time has come to tell Blaze the news. We had just arrived at the office to meet up with Blaze, Jace, and Tanner. Taylor and I walked hand in hand into Blaze's office with Connor following closely behind us; we were thankful that he was the only one who had arrived. We had been early for once, which was perfect in this case. Blaze looked up. His smile turned into a frown quickly when he saw our joined hands. "What's going on?" Blaze asked as he squinted his eyes at us. Well, this wasn't going to be good.
