Chapter 11 Just as his lips brushed closer , about to claim hers , she turned her head away . " So you're jealous ." His smile deepened as his big hands tightened around Josephine's slender waist . " It was a friend's wife . She needed a ride to the airport . Don't think too much about it , okay ? " Was she overthinking it , or was he lying through his teeth ? That " friend's wife " was his own wife ! Josephine stared into his fathomless eyes , and he didn't look away . So , it was true that men could lie without batting an eye . " I've been out too long . " Chapter 11 She hesitated for a moment before lowering her voice to a soft murmur . " Monty . " " Jo ? " Elnora's voice came from outside . Josephine instantly panicked , her eyes darting to Raymond in alarm . But his lips crashed down on hers in a possessive kiss . The kiss was intense and consuming . Josephine was momentarily stunned , almost giving in , and she nearly screamed . Then she remembered Elnora was out there , so she kept quiet . She pushed against Raymond's solid chest , trying to get him to stop . Raymond finally let go , still smiling at her even though he wanted to keep going . She was almost freaking out . She couldn't let Elnora know what was going on with them . Just then , someone outside said , " Sorry , the bathroom here is being fixed . You gotta use the one down the hall ." Chapter 11 " Alright , thank you . " Josephine finally relaxed when she heard Elnora's high heels clicking away in the distance . She made a fist and punched Raymond's chest . He had people watching outside , but he still went out of his way to scare her . He held her hand to his lips and kissed it , his Voice low and husky . " Go eat with Elnora , and try to get away early " " I don't think I can today .. " Before she could finish , her phone rang . She fished it out and saw Elnora's name flashing on the screen . She put her finger to her lips , telling Raymond to be quiet . But the moment she picked up , he leaned in and gently bit the soft spot behind her ear . She yelped , her voice sounding a little suggestive . From the other end , Elnora's worried voice came through . " Jo , what are you doing ? He'd said that more than once , and every time Josephine would turn him down . Clearly , he was set on seeing Elnora . Josephine would still refuse , only in a different mood this time .
