The following day Liza was heading to her office as usual and the members of Department D were wishing her polite “Good Mornings” and as usual she was replying to them with her very charming smiles. One of the staff, Yuvraj said ." Do you know why I am always at work early Miss Liza” "Why is that Yuvraj?" Liza asked casually "To see our Team Leader’s charming smile" Yuvraj replied playfully. Liza blushed and one of girls employees winked at Yuvraj and all the other employees started laughing at his mischievous flirting. ."Alright guys“ Liza said authoritatively, “lets get back to work. Just remember, I’m still your boss" All of them nodded with a smile and went happily back to their workstations, This was was their daily routine. Each morning they chatted with each other for a few minutes and then got to work. And everyday Yuvraj would find a way to flirt with his boss Liza. Of course Liza took light hearted flirting as a harmless joke which didn't bother her at all. She then went into her own office. Some time later that morning her boss came in to see her and said sounding a little anxious "Liza I have a job for you. I was supposed to do it but I am very busy today. You are the only other person I trust to do it.. "Ok” Liza answered reassuringly “tell me what it is you want me to do?" "Actually the Head of the company asked me to entertain a client in a restaurant tonight. Well you know my wife is pregnant, and she has not been very well recently, so I don't want to leave her alone but this client is very important” He said anxiously. “If we don't do this, then the chief will give this project to Department B and then our department will have a ‘black mark’ against its name" Although she definitely didn't want their project to go to Department B, she was also worried about entertaining male clients at night. It isn't really a safe thing to do and her bosses assistant who would normally have accompanied her, was also on holiday for a few days. Her Boss understood her worries, he added, "Don't worry, I am not expecting you to go alone. I have asked one of our interns to go with you. Now I am in hurry so I’m leaving early today" Liza started to say “But sir” Then he left without waiting for her reply. Her words remaining unsaid. He didn't even tell her which intern would be going with her. “Forget it.. what does it matter which intern is coming with me” She thought . Liza again busied herself with the work she had been doing. She completed her work early so that she had time to go home, change to more appropriate clothes for entertaining. Liza then came back to the office. When she got back to the office, she found that everyone had left and only the security guards were left. "Has everyone left?" She asked "Yes Maam" The security guard nodded. "Is there not one of the interns here?" She asked. The security guard pointed behind her. When she turned back, she saw a tall handsome man with piercing eyes standing there. It was none other than the arrogant Aman. She pursed her lips thinking “why the hell is he here? There were four interns to choose from, why did her boss choose this arrogant man to accompany her.” She turned to him and said "Let's go" without paying much attention to him. "Remember that day that you took advantage of me to chase away your boy friend?” Aman began in an arrogant tone “Now you are taking advantage of me to protect you from hooligans.” He carried on asking “That day you pretended I was your ex-boyfriend. - So what is my identity today, your bodyguard?" Liza pursed her lips and said "If you don't want to come then you can go. home” Liza said through tight lips. “I can handle this on my own" She always felt very uncomfortable talking to him. Why did he always talk to her with so much arrogance? Nobody else talks to her like that. People tell her she is beautiful and so always talked to her very pleasantly, But Aman was the exception. His manner made her feel very uncomfortable. ”How can I refuse my superior" he said playfully. "At least you remember that I am your manager, so that's a good thing but please don’t ever talk down to me. Never forget that I am your boss, OK" She said sharply, then stepped forward to hail a Taxi. At the restaurant, they entered together, she was wearing a formal dress that she thought appropriate for entertaining a client and had her hair in a pony tail. She was looking quite stunning in this dress. Much more attractive than the dresses she would wear for work.
