Alexis's POV; After Jasmin dropped me off i went straight up to my room and arranged it a little not that it wasn't arranged before its just that my room was always kinda messy whenever i prepare for school. I then go to my mom's room to look for her, but she wasn't there. So i go downstairs checked the kitchen but she wasn't there so i guessed she was at the store since even Sophie wasn't there too. So i watch some TV to pass time and then there was a knock on the door and I go to check it out and find a smiling Sophie who comes in "Where's mom?" I ask. "She's doing a night shift at the cafe so I'm in charge." Sophie said with a smile plastered on his face. "Okay.. I wanted to tell you-" "So Mark's coming over tonight so stay in your room till tomorrow morning." Sophie interrupted me. "I will cause I was saying I want to tell you that Jazz is coming over." I finally completed my sentence. "Great, so what's for dinner?" Sophie asked. "We are having spaghetti and meatballs." I answered. "Yum, I love your meatballs." She said back. "That's great just leave some for Jazz." I told her. She nodded and started eating, in between eating, the doorbell rang and I ran to open the door. "Come on in girl!" I told her smiling and she entered and said. "Something smells divine!" Jasmin closed her eyes with a smile on her face. "Is your mom home?" Jasmin asked and I shook my head. "It's her meatballs." Sophie yelled from the dining table. Jazz greeted Sophie and walked into the kitchen. She grabbed a plate to serve her portion but paused. "Have you had dinner?" Jasmin turned to look at me and I shook my head. " Want to eat together?" She asked and I nodded with a smile. The thing about Jasmin is that she treats my home like it's hers and my family like it's also hers. My mom on the other hand was extremely excited that I had a female friend that she started treating Jasmin as another daughter. After having our dinner, Jasmin and I went up to my room to leave the living room for Sophie but Jasmin kept staring at her phone. "Hey are you okay?" I asked in a worried tone. "Yeah it's just June telling me that my dad is home drunk again." She said slightly sighing. June is Jasmin's little sister they are a family of 'Js' because her mother's name is Julia while her dad's Justin so they decided to have children with matching names. "I'm so sorry." I say softly while holding her shoulders. "It's okay, we are kinda used to it." She muttered in a low tone. "So what should we do now?" I ask Jazz who was already yawning. "Sleep!" She answered quickly but I didn't really feel sleepy so I just left Jazz who had already gone to sleep and wanted to drink cold water. I tiptoed to the stairs but I only saw Sophie making out with her boyfriend on the couch. After a long while of playing Sudoku, I got tired and played chess on my laptop until I yawned and sleep began to creep into my eyes. I turned off the laptop and went to bed but before I could sleep it took awhile because of Jazz's snoring, hard to believe that such a pretty girl snores but that's the irony of life. ** I made this chapter a little short because i didn't want a really long chapter how is the book?! Is it good,okay or just not good your opinion maters a lot.
