Chapter 13 LeeAca's POV I am walking around the kitchen to find this Ms. Louise. I have asked 3 servants and nobody knows where she is. I start to wander around halls to hopefully find who I am looking for. Finally I find a room that looks like an office. There are a bunch of papers hanging on the wall as I take a closer look at them I see they are schedules. I look around and see a small name plate on the desk that says Ms. Louise. "Perfect." I say to myself as I take a seat. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO MOP WITH THAT THING. IT IS DISGUSTING. WE HAVE THE NEW ELECTRIC MOP THINGS THAT SCRUB THE FLOORS." I hear screaming as the voice gets closer. I am guessing that is Ms. Lousie. I turn to an older lady, maybe in her 50s walking through the door. She is cursing under her breath and turns around. Her gray hair is pulled into a tight bun. He has dark brown eyes and a longer, more pointed nose, that would make most people intimidated. Her voice is lower and rougher like she should have been a warrior trainer. "Oh hello. You must be the new hire. Let me go over the rules with you and get your uniform." She says with a smile on her face. I look at her questioningly as she goes to a filing cabinet and starts pulling out clothing. "No ma'am. I am not a new hire. My name is LeeAca and I was wanting to talk with you." She stops what she is doing and turns around. Her face went pale and her mouth was hanging open. "OH LUNA! I did not realize that it was you. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I would have never thought that the luna would come here. Please." She rumbles on. I just raise my hand to stop her. "You are alright. I am not upset. I just wanted to speak with you about my lady's maid. I am ready to receive one. I would prefer to talk with you in person, rather than over the phone." "Oh of course. I understand." Her emotions went from frightened and panicked to relief and slight confusion. "The maid who brought up the telephone, Redna. I would like her to be my Ladies Maid. I am not in need of many things, so I will only need one and she will do." Her face falls and her brows furrow. "If I may. Luna, we have five women who are trained to be the Royal's maids. There is no need to have an inexperienced maid such as Redna. If you wish to choose one, I would recommend Ms.Connie. She is highly skilled in hair and makeup. As well as knowledge of holistic health. She would be the best fit for you." She says with a little hint of annoyance. "Well, Ms. Louis, as much as I appreciate the offer, I really enjoyed Redna today. How about a compromise? On an everyday scale I will have Redna, but during special events, I will have Redna and anybody else you deem acceptable to help me." I say in a tone that lets her know this is not negotiable. "Oh Well of course Luna. I will switch Redna tomorrow. You know... this may actually help. The princesses arrived back just a few moments ago and the other lady maids will be busy with them." She says. "I greatly appreciate it Ms. Louis. Have a wonderful day." I say as she looks at me curiously and I walk out. The rest of the day was as per usual. I ate lunch in my room and then grabbed a notebook and went out to the garden. I am sitting there when I hear footsteps. I look up to see a girl around my sister's age. "Hello." She says and sits down next to me in the grass. "Hi." I say with a small smile. "I'm Alena. Who are you?" She asks. The wave of aura I received from her tells me she is royalty. "I am LeeAca. It is nice to meet you princess." I say which catches her off guard and she blushes. "Are you visiting? I did not know we had any visitors." She says. She is either dumb or does not know about me. I have a feeling it is a bit of both. "I was visiting, but now it seems like I will be here for a very long time." I say. "Wait. You're.. You're my brother's chosen mate?" She asks, stumbling around for the words. "Yes. I suppose I am. At least that is what I think he meant when he said I was his chosen one." She giggles and looks at me questioningly. "What are you doing out here?" She asks, looking around the garden. "I think the better question is what are YOU doing out here?" I counter. "I just needed time to myself. To get reacquainted with this castle life. I don't have many friends here. They all treat me differently because I am the princess. They either suck up or are scared." Hmm. "Why is she telling us this? We didn't ask for that much detail. She could have just said that she wanted to be alone and this is her spot." Fen grumbles. I look at the princess and feel her sadness. I put my hand on her shoulder and smiled, giving her some peaceful emotions. "You will find your friends. It is hard to tell when you are so young whether your friends are true friends. Count it as a blessing that you have realized they are not truly your friends before you did something stupid in front of them. You will find at least 1 true friend." Trying to make her feel better. "My sister hasn't." She retorts. "Well it is a good thing you are not your sister now isn't it. You are you, not her." She smiles at me and hugs me, making me uncomfortable. When she lets go she glances at my notebook. "What is that?" She asks, pointing towards my notebook. "It is a notebook." I answer. "What does it have in it?" She asks "Drawings." I say, as I open the first page. It is a drawing of one of the flowers in the garden. She gasps as she looks at the page. "That gardenia is beautiful. It is very realistic. You are an artist?" She asks. "I like to draw. I am no artist. It is something to do in my freetime." "Well that is very pretty. I wish I could draw like that." "All it takes is practice." I say. All of a sudden a maid comes running up. "Princess, I couldn't find you. I have roamed all around looking for you. It is time for dinner." The out of the breath maid said, looking toward Alena. I smile slightly as she gets up. She starts to walk away when she turns around. "Are you not coming?" She asks as we look at each other confused. "No Princess, I eat at a later time." I say. "When do you eat? You cannot eat alone, I was told you eat all your meals in your room. Come with me." She pouts. Well that was a little harsh. Maybe she isn't dumb, just says whatever she has on her mind, "Okay then." I say and get up and walk towards them. She links her arm in mine and steers us toward the dining room.
