Can we go out to the mall today?" Narcia asked during lunch. It was just the three of them at the table today. The boys hadn't joined them for lunch since none of them was at school. Typical bad boys. Narcia thought to herself. "You know you miss them." A voice in her head said as she broke out of her trance. "You hate shopping so why now?" Zhavia said munching lazily on her apple. "I just don't want to bump into one of Jay's airheads for the night I just don't know where he picks them from." She added sighing. Ever since he stopped sulking about his breakup its been one girl after another. Courtney had tried talking sense into him but to no avail. Narcia and Zara tried also but he's just become an asshole who wouldn't listen. "How's Courtney holding up anyways?" Zhavia asked Anya. "At first she was broken about it, but I think she's coming to terms with it she'd gradually get over him." She added. "Then it will be that asshole's own fault and loss," Narcia added stabbing her bun with her fork harshly. "Don't kill the poor bun, he's done nothing," Anya added pouting as Narcia dropped her fork. She stood up and walked towards her friend rubbing her back. "Everything will be fine, just you wait," Anya whispered. "So about the mall what time?" Zhavia asked as she sat down after dumping her pack in the trash. "Let's make it the mall and the movies. We get to the mall at 8 pm, then head for the movies at 11:00 pm. They'd be showing Frozen II and Trolls world." Anya added excitedly. "That's not a bad idea since we have a sleepover at Narcia's the whole weekend," Zhavia added smiling. "So see you at mine after school". Narcia said as the bell rang signalling the next period. "Seven cool hours of our lives being wasted...School." Zhavia added as the walked lazily to class. Jay's phone rang as he was feeding Courtney ice cream. They'd both taken a day off work to hung out. "Way to ruin our moment," Courtney said rolling her eyeballs. Jay stuck out his tongue at her while she chuckled. "Hey babe, I hope we are up for tonight". Nina one of his s*x buddies said through the phone. "Of course we are, get a cab, and come around 8 pm," Jayden added. "Babe, come pick me up, please," Nina whined. "Baby, I can't so you meet me at mine at 8 pm," Jay added with finality in his voice. "Let me make it up to you...tomorrow we will go to the movies at 9 pm." He said with his fingers crossed. "Okey dokey," Courtney said as she picked her bag as Jayden saw her off to the door. "Hey Zara, Hey Jay." Narcia greeted as she came home from school just as her friends climbed up the stairs. "Hey, pumpkin...how was school?" Jayden asked dropping his glass in the sink. "Same old, same old," Narcia answered taking skittles from the fridge. "Hope you're making new friends?" Zara asked washing the dishes. "Well...I can say so." She added walking towards her room. "Before I forget I'd be going to the movies with the girls and we'd be back late...so I won't be joining you for dinner today," Narcia said. "Alright, have fun, and take care." Jayden and Zara said at the same time. "I will," Narcia said climbing up the stairs to join her friends. "Are we still going to the game arena tonight?" Sean asked looking at his friends. They hadn't been in school today. Reign had business to take care of and needed their help with it. His mother had died right after his birth and his father had been the one taking care of him ever since even taking time off his busy schedule. But all that stopped as soon as he brought in that witch of his stepmother. He stopped spending time with him and his stepmother never cared a hoot about him. He fell into the wrong crowd at the age of 15. He used to deliver unknown packages to clients whom he knew nothing about. He had a debt to pay and each month he had an amount of money to pay until God knows when. "Of course we are, we need to blow off steam," Zaid added. "Zara we are off to the movies...tell Jay when he's done with his Barbie doll." She added pecking her on her cheek. "Do take care," Zara added as Narcia and her friends stepped out. I'm driving, tonight." Anya said as she sat in the driver's seat of Narcia's seat with Narcia and Zhavia at the backseat. She zoomed off into the night. Anya played songs in the car as they sang to it on top of their voices. "That was fun!" Zhavia said as the song ended. "Next song!!!!" Narcia said on top of her voice. "Sorry to burst your bubble baby girl but we're here," Anya added searching for a spot to park the car. " Awww." Narcia pouted. "I was enjoying the moment, why did you drive so fast?" She whined as they walked into the mall. "I didn't Nar, the mall is 15-minutes away from your house," Anya stated the obvious rolling her eyes as Zhavia laughed at them bickering.
