Christopher's face flushed with anger as he ground his teeth, finally discerning the devious intentions of this mischievous little girl. Elaine wailed loudly after the spanking, clutching her posterior, crying so hard she could barely catch her breath. Outside the room, panic ensued among the housekeeper and servants. "What's happening? Quickly retrieve the master key to unlock the door." Arthur's calm and authoritative voice soon resonated from the hallway. Christopher was taken aback. Oh no, Daddy was back! He quickly rolled his eyes and theatrically fell to the ground, crying and rolling around. The bedroom door swung open, and Arthur entered first, his towering presence exuding an aura of stern authority. Inside the room, toys were scattered haphazardly, one of the two young children was bawling on the bed, and the other lay on the floor, crying incessantly. Arthur's expression darkened as he approached. He lifted Elaine up from the floor and questioned her, his voice stern, "Elaine, I refrained from reprimanding you last night, but now you've gone too far. Bullying Hendrick again shows a lack of respect for me." Elaine opened her mouth, her anger and frustration evident as her face turned red. She felt incredibly wronged, Even though she had been the instigator this time, she hadn't gained any advantage and had ended up getting scolded.
