Chapter 30 - Men Experienced Fluid Loss After Watching a VTuber’s Special Livestream. A Shark Vtuber Wished They Would Find Their Lost Gallons. [Please note that attributes exceeding 100 points might require additional idol points for growth. The rate is as follows.] [Strength and Fitness: 10 Idol Points for each attribute.] [Magic, Singing, and Dancing: 100 Idol Points for each attribute.] [In addition, each level up from level six to ten requires 200 idol points.] [You currently have 4,248 Idol Points.] Parita took notes. The inflation was acceptable since she started gaining more idol points from defeating and cleansing dangerous foes. However, Parita was not naive enough to overlook the system’s mistake. "If I remember correctly, I DID use the idol meeting magic on the vampire dude. Where is my reward?" [...You have obtained 1,444 idol points.] "Holy shizzle! That much?!" [You have partly purified a Scorched. It is, however, one of the weakest Scorched. Regardless of its weaknesses, a comprehensive entity cleansing should consistently result in approximately 10,000 idol points. An adept or a matured Scorched is 30,000 points, and the elite versions should reward you with 100,000 points or more.] Parita was stunned. She got curious. "What is a Scorched? Is it related to the Hungers?" [The Scorched are infected people who were either bitten or exposed to the Bloodscorched virus. However, instead of being overtaken by the virus, they become one with it. Most Scorched people evolve into a vampire, werewolf, or a demonic being while they retain their conscience and consciousness.] "That sounds like a zombie story. Wait, what about the people who got bitten in battle? Did they die for nothing?! Had I used the idol meeting magic on them, I would have saved their lives!" [That was before the quest reward. Level 1 Idol Meeting Magic cannot remove the Bloodscorched virus. Only Level 2 and above are capable of cleansing the infection.] "T-Then, you could have upgraded it before. No, I could have killed the Starve and got the upgrade reward right there, right?" [Their death is not your fault. Do not dwell on it.] Parita heard a soft sigh from the wind, as though the system could physically exhale. [Back to the topic. In this world, there are four anomalies: the Hungers, the Starve, the Depraved, the Scorched, and the Fallen. The source of this is the Bloodscorched virus. For now, you only have to be wary of the Scorched since they hide themselves well in society.] [The vampires earlier are far stronger and more cunning than the Starve. For now, focus on improving your abilities and level so that you can protect yourself. Use the leftover idol points to enhance your idol abilities to maintain your idol career and a stable source of income. As long as you keep your life balance in check, you will not be in danger.] [Are you still listening?] [Don’t be too sad. The brave warriors who died today have a special place in Valhalla. They won’t blame you for being powerless at their last moment.] Parita bit her lower lip and wiped a tear from her eyes. She chuckled and shook her head. "Valhalla? What are you, Odin?! Pfft, yeah, right." [Not Odin, but... never mind.] Parita ignored the last message. She fiddled with the status menu and raised her attribute points. After the shopping, Parita was left with two idol points. For now, she was satisfied. Parita continued on her way to the camp. She hoped that no one would realize that she had gone out hunting alone. At the adventurer’s camp, every team was wide awake. They gathered around the screen cube and watched the breathtaking fight. Parita abused the sword aura technique and cut down Hungers. After the first one went down, the crowd erupted in cheers. Sparrow stood there, biting her nail. She was dying to get back to the battlefield, but she knew that she wouldn’t make it in time. She prayed that Parita would come out of this fight alive. Unfortunately, after the first monster was cleaved in half, its blood splattered on her face, her eyes, and her mouth. All adventurers’ faces turned white. It was over. Parita might be infected. Parrot fell to her knees. Although their time together was short, she considered her a little sister figure. Frustrated and anguished, she screamed. "That’s why I told you to stick together! Why did you have to go there by yourself?! WHY!?" Several adventurers averted their eyes from the screen, not wanting to see Parita’s demise. Despite their unwillingness, the sound of combat and the bloodcurdling screams of the Hungers drew their eyes back to the cube. Her fight was heroic. After cutting down several Hungers, the Starve emerged and used Earth magic on her, creating a spike. It sent her into the pit. Most adventurers had never fought a Starve before. Upon seeing its magic capabilities, they were horrified. "Magic?! It can use magic?!" A youth was flabbergasted. A combat dwarf who had gone through the previous outbreak narrowed his eyes. He sighed and commented. "This one is a newly emerged Starve. If it were a mature one, it would have used multi-cast and bombarded the lad with multiple advanced spells." "It can multi-cast?!" "Yes, the same way heroes and archmages can do. Imagine a colossal monster that possesses strength exceeding that of barbarians and the magical aptitude of archmages. Fighting one of those is a nightmare. That’s why we recommended S-rank teams to deal with them. Going solo is a no-go." "I might sound rude to her teammates, but it’s better to give up on her. No matter how hard she fights, she can’t possibly kill it." Meanwhile, Parita landed at the bottom of the pit unharmed. Boars leaped into the pit to finish her off, yet she cut them down. She leaped out of the pit and killed the crabs, getting some cheers from the hopeful adventurers. But the ape caught her. The Starve launched a fireball straight at them. "T-That ape is trying to die along with her?!" Sparrow’s eyes welled up while the elf teammates cried. They believed it was over. Even the mages from the other parties didn’t want to look. "At least she won’t turn into them." A mage commented and closed his eyes, praying to Parita for a quick death. An explosion erupted. The magic flame turned the ape into ash instantly. However, Parita was unharmed. Her clothes were burned away, leaving behind the leather breastplate that covered her upper torso. The men were stunned for multiple reasons. Fireball spells might be a simple magic that mages first learned, but their destructive power was well-insured. One simple fireball was enough to wipe out any A-rank adventurer party if they were caught off guard. A direct hit always ensured death. But on the screen, Parita didn’t suffer a single burn wound. She seemed to be immune to the flame and heat. Her eyes gleamed red as she pounced at the lion. The lion fired another fireball, but she tanked it. She latched onto the lion’s face and stabbed it with a short sword. Unfortunately, the sword broke. Everybody was in awe. Lupus and Ruballa’s jaws dropped. "Does she have a magic immunity trait?!" Rubella asked the guildmaster to make sure. "But isn’t that an S-class trait?! Shouldn’t it be a simple fire resistance trait?" "No, fire resistance covers normal fire, not magic flame! Mana fire can’t be suppressed with a normal resistance!" The dwarf nodded in agreement. He was more concerned about the broken weapon. "Alas. Her weapon and armor can’t keep up with her abilities. It’s a pity that we didn’t get a chance to nurture her or supply her with the right gear." Sparrow and Parrot overheard the comment. They lowered their heads and shed tears of regret. They wished they had monitored her better. The fight continued. A mole ambushed her, but Parita turned around and punched it. Everybody thought it was a desperate move. They were ready to witness her struggle. A strange explosive force occurred. An unknown power from Parita’s fist penetrated the mole’s stomach, resulting in a gaping hole. "Huh?" All onlookers were stunned. At the moment, Parita had been bathed in her enemy’s blood. Crimson paint covered her alluring figure, yet not a single man in the adventurer camp saw her as lewd material. Latest content publıshed on 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹✶𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲✶𝗻𝗲𝘁 They were looking at a hero figure, a valiant woman who did the impossible. Infected and devoid of armor or weapons, she continued to fight. The 10th Hunger went down. The lion fled to the pit. Parita pursued. "Bloody elf." The dwarf chuckled. "She’s a feisty one." "Blood elf?" Lupus misheard it. The crowd had a similar idea. They began uttering Parita’s new nickname. "Blood elf...? Blood Elf! GO, BLOOD ELF!!" The chat log accelerated. All the adventurers chanted Parita’s new nickname, cheering for her. The others who watched the stream from other places also chanted the new title. Sparrow, Parrot, and the elf team also joined the crowd. Only Haast and her teammates observed the stream in silence. Harpy tugged Haast’s cloth and asked her. "Sister Haast... when the time comes, can we help her... like how you saved me?" Haast sighed. "That depends. If she succumbs to her evil desire, we won’t be able to do anything. But if she overcomes it..." "Obviously. Not all Scorched are evil. We’re just victims of this unfair world." Unfortunately, what they had expected never happened. As soon as Parita killed the Starve, the entire town erupted. Adventurers cried while they chanted Parita’s new title. The loud voices of soldiers within the wall vibrated the air. Civilians and people in houses, taverns, brothels, and shops burst into cheers. While the townspeople were celebrating Parita’s victory, many men secretly harbored desires. Many youths spilled milk for the first time. H5N8’s pants were about to burst due to the stimulation. Parita’s graceful fighting posture and healthy physique stole his heart. H5N8 made his decision. Regardless of her infection, he wanted Parita in his bed. He knew a few tricks to tame a Scorched. After all, his grandfather, H5N1, was one of them.
