Arabella's eyes snapped open and she let out a groan before rolling to her side. She winced as pain shot through her at the little movement. She blinked several times to clear her blurry vision as her eyes opened fully. Her bright blue eyes collided with a figure in black hoodies in front of her and she lurched back in fright. Arabella shrieked as she darted out of bed before realizing it was Blaze who stood before her. Blaze pulled the hood that covered almost half of his face and shook his head. "I didn't mean to frighten you." Arabella scowled and heaved a breath, "I almost had a heart attack. I could have died!" "I didn't mean for that to happen," He repeated, "I was only watching to make sure you are fine." "What happened?" She asked, furrowing her brows. She believed something must have happened for Blaze to want to watch over her. Nothing of such had happened and she didn't think Sandro would allow it. Maybe, Sandro gave him the order since he controls literally everything in the house. As she got back to the large bed, Arabella took her time to gaze around and noticed the room wasn't familiar. It was airy and at the same time inviting. Unlike the one, she had been placed before. Maybe because the colour it was painted in was darker than this. Also, her former room was masculine whereas this looks like a doll house compared to it. "Where am I? Sandro changed my room?" She asked, staring at the pink curtains that rustled as the wind blew them. "You don't remember what happened last night?" Blaze questioned. Arabella shook her head. Blaze grimaced and clenched his hands into fists, "That bástárd, he'll surely pay for this." "Is it, Sandro?" Arabella asked. Blaze glared but said nothing. His eyes narrowed on her, "Perhaps, you should think harder. He did something awful to you. There's no way you could have forgotten so easily. It is even less than twenty-four hours!" She flinched as he yelled. His gaze softened and he ran a hand through his disheveled hair, "I'm sorry." Arabella gave a half-shrug before frowning. She was more confused by his outburst. She didn't know what had happened or what was going on but she believed it must have been awful considering the aches that shot through her body as she moved. Again, she was certain it all had to do with Sandro. Abruptly, she stood from the bed and stepped to the door, "Sandro will have your head if he does not see me in my room. I don't know where I am but I don't think you should be here." "Sandro isn't here," Blaze mumbled. "At least he doesn't know you are here yet." "Then where am I?" "My house." Blaze said. "I saved you last night." Arabella let her hand fall from the handle and she turned to meet him. "How about you tell me what happened? And why would you do that? You can get yourself killed!" "You'd rather prefer I watch you die than save you when I can?!" "But…" "No fúcking buts. Be grateful you are not in his clutches because heaven knows he planned far worse than you can imagine." Blaze shouted. "At least if I die, I'd know I did my best to save you." Arabella sighed. She stepped to the Queen-sized bed and sat heavily on it. She kneaded her temple as her head began to hurt. Blaze walked towards her and gripped her hand. Worry snaked through him as he heard her grimace. "Are you hurt? Do you feel any pain?" Arabella shook her head. She eyed him as he sat beside her. "I saw what he did to you. I don't think I can ever be fine with it." He rasped, his muscles tensed up. Blaze shut his eyes and heaved a deep breath. He wasn't surprised she didn't recall about last night because he had seen the terrible things he did. He was certain she had erased her memory- it was common in the world he was from. Werewolves and other supernatural beings tend to erase their memories after going through a lot. Only the extremely powerful ones could do that to themselves or they could do so with the help of magic. But, Arabella was human with no hidden powers. Her memory had vanished overnight and he wondered if it was the moon goddess doing or if someone had tampered with her head whilst she was at the clinic before his arrival. Last night, he wished he could unsee everything but it was impossible. It was literally in front of him that everything happened. It was her first scream that attracted him to the room but there was no way he could step in. She was Sandro's captive and anything he desired he could do with her. He wasn't in the place to tell him what to do except he was ready to leave the pack. Moreover, he wouldn't be leaving the pack in one piece if something as such happened. Despite her plea, he went on to have his way. It wasn't until he saw her laying lifeless in the clinic he had done the first thing in his mind without thinking. Blaze had taken her as soon as Francis left for his room. He was aware he'd get in trouble if caught but he had saved her. That was all that mattered. "What is going to happen if Sandro gets hold of me? He'll kill you." Arabella said. "Don't worry about me." Blaze let out, "And you are safe here as well. Just follow my instructions and don't go where you can be seen." Arabella nodded and her stomach grumbled. "Let me get you something to eat, then we can discuss more later after you are done." Blaze stood from where he sat and walked to the door. He turned and tilted his head, "What would you like?" Arabella shrugged, "Just anything." "Okay," Blaze affirmed with a nod.
