the Nether Tree moaned again. exclaimed Gozzl but the Nether Tree remained silent this time. Instead, its height increased from 100 thousand kilometres to 110 ten thousand, 120 thousand... 130 thousand and continued rising. As the Nether Tree grew larger, so did Zixin. In just a blink of an eye, he was a hundred meters long and still growing. What he was absorbing from the Nether Tree seemed to be some black fluid that seemed endless and delicious to him. A week later, Zixin finally stopped absorbing the black liquid from the Nether Tree through the roots, he was very big now, extremely big. He was tens of thousands of meters big and exuded great strength. The Nether Tree had also grown a lot, now reaching the height of 1.5 million kilometres and two hundred kilometres wide. It was a massive tree that could be obsessed from outer space and the biggest thing in the flat black planet. said Nether Tree with a solemn voice as it released a small blue flame shaped like itself that turned into a mark on Zixin’s head. After creating the mark, the Nether Tree was drained of its energy. said Gozzl and crawled down the tree and burrowed underground. Gozzl appeared in front of Zixin who seemed to be looking for something and when it appeared, it felt itself being suffocated and suppressed by Zixin’s gaze. ’How is this possible?!’ thought Gozzl but before it could react, Zixin sunk his mandibles into its squishy and soft body that was a thousand meters long. After the mandibles pierced through its flesh, they started sucking on Gozzl. As a worm, Zixin was currently in his most fragile state where predators would devour him as sustenance. And because of such a huge disadvantage, his "Species" came up with a two-in-one defence and growth mechanism. This mechanism allows the larva to be greatly valued by the powerful creatures that found them. So valuable that it might benefit the entire race and any thought of killing the larva would deem you a lifelong enemy of that race where even in death, you’d still be the number one enemy of that race. Heck, it might even spark a Race War where only one race could live and the other had to die. Currently, Zixin’s value and worth was even above that of the Anchor that the Nether Tree worked so hard to achieve, it might even consider him more valuable then itself. Five days later, Gozzl disappeared from underground and reappeared in outer space with his full size. A 5 million kilometres long sandworm monster with a terrifying mouth roared, its roar so loud and powerful that it even reached other planes and alerted the powerhouses of those planes. Hearing Gozzl’s roar, Venerable Shu and Venerable Tai were visibly shaken or to be more direct, the duo was now scared of Gozzl because the roar alone was many times stronger than them which wasn’t good, not good at all. Even other Venerables who were rushing over to Venerable Shu’s domain stopped on their tracks and questioned whether to continue advancing or run away and it was a question that a few hours of thought wouldn’t produce an answer. There was naturally a reason for Zixin showcasing with worthy to Gozzl and the Nether Tree and it was a more deeper and profound reason. In another Realm(Universe), a Realm that was completely composed of ice and snow, space began to stir as an invisible creature slowly became visible. It was a bird with a brown back, white belly and red breasts, face and cheeks. It had both sharp talons and sharp beak, its feathers very beautiful and smooth. What was most astounding about this bird was that it nestled on the ice and snow Realm like it was its nest, that’s how big it actually was. It then opened its eyelids and revealed its eyes that were like the universe, darkness that was decorated with the light of stars and planets. It chirped twice and space cracked appeared, wide open, and the bird flew inside the space crack. When it disappeared, the Realm of ice and snow was beginning to return to its normal appearance, the ice and snow was melting and life was returning. What was most terrifying was that this wasn’t the only bird that had woken up, many birds had woken up including birds that were larger and more terrifying than the Robin bird and all of them could create space cracks with just their chirps. As for why they were awake and where they were going, only time would tell.
