As it turns out, even if a bear’s nose is more sensitive than a dog’s, once it becomes a magical beast, its traits are what matters. The brown bear lacks a tracking trait, making it much worse at tracking than the Land Dog. Still, relying on its own sense of smell, the brown bear eventually managed to locate a team of goblins. This team of goblins numbered twenty. Gazing at the sight, Du You hesitated a bit, but then gritted his teeth. "Let’s fight," he said, already drawing his bow. He had plenty of arrows in his quiver, many of which were left behind by goblin archers. Arrows flew in succession, supplemented by his magic missiles. Du You alone was able to launch a barrage of ranged attacks. These goblins, though of the same level as him, were significantly weaker. Du You killed five of them in one wave of attack, using up a considerable amount of his magic power. From the sky, Xiaozi descended like a phantom, swiftly swooping over the ground. Goblin heads exploded one after another, faster than Du You’s pace. At this point, the brown bear had charged in too. Surprisingly, the bear’s combat performance was very formidable. While it may lack in the sense of smell, its attack power was incomparable to the Land Dog’s. "Impressive strength trait, truly terrifying." With one swipe of its paw, a goblin almost got smashed to pieces, thrown backwards and seemingly on the brink of death. Another swipe sent both a goblin and another one behind it flying. Apparently one was dead, and another was severely injured. This terrifying strength, coupled with its strong defensive power, made Du You feel more emboldened in combat. Now, even if he had to face a team of thirty, Du You felt confident about winning. However, encountering such a large team would still depend on luck. Confident now, Du You shot his arrows freely. In just a short while, he had wiped out the entire team. "Well done, that felt great. Let’s move on." Killing goblins this smoothly enhanced Du You’s mood. Under the brown bear’s lead, as a team of three, they almost bulldozed through all obstacles, yet the goblins failed to notice anything wrong. In the afternoon, Du You pushed aside a clump of grass, a serious look in his eyes. "So this is their tribe." Before them was a large group of rough straw huts, which served as the goblins’ dwellings. In the middle were three large huts, hosting three goblins who were considerably larger than the average goblin, presumably their leaders. Due to the distance, he couldn’t discern their levels. There were many more goblins around, numbering at least three hundred. In the open space, piles of food lay around, including various game, wild fruits, mushrooms, and even the corpses of fellow goblins. A smorgasbord, so to speak. The goblins were celebrating with song and dance, unaware of the celebration’s reason. "These idiotic imbeciles, celebrating with the dead bodies of their fellow goblins as food. Do they know nothing? Their intelligence is even lower than that of animals. It’s a waste they have human forms." Du You whispered to himself, retreating cautiously with his brown bear. Regardless of how stupid goblins were, they remained formidable creatures. Du You was confident, but not enough to believe he could defeat around three hundred goblins. His search from last night enabled him to understand this. Before nightfall, all the goblins would return to their tribe. Given the time now, nightfall wasn’t far off. But just as Du You was about to retreat, he noticed one of the leaders suddenly leaving the tribe with a team, evidently on some sort of errand. Du You’s eyes lit up and he quickly followed. The brown bear was too conspicuous due to its size and made considerable noise. To avoid detection, Du You temporarily dismissed it. No matter how his summoned creatures were summoned, they could still be put away. In the sky, relying on Xiaozi, he locked onto the target with his eyes. As an eagle, Xiaozi had excellent eyesight. Being a magical beast only enhanced its eyes, free from the common shortcomings of ordinary eagles. Through the connection with Xiaozi, Du You easily followed them. When the goblin leader had put some distance with its tribe, Du You finally caught up. "A Goblin Brave Warrior, even has a title. Du You saw the title ’Goblin Brave Warrior’ above the goblin leader’s head, indicative of either its profession or status. The goblin brave warrior’s level had now increased to 2. "Someone at level 2 should have improved much in strength. But there are only ten guards around it, not many. However, I can’t underestimate them. They all wield long swords, their attack power must be high. Yet to me, they’re just the Kitchen Knife Team..." Du You smirked oddly. Their destination appeared to be a small hill, one side of it was steep, and the other side was accessible. This was discovered by Xiaozi soaring in the sky. By their current route, it wouldn’t be long before they reached it. That’s why he had to go first. With that thought, Du You took a detour. Having arrived before them, Du You hid himself on top of the hill. In less than ten minutes, the goblins arrived. "Finally, I’ve been waiting for you." Pulling back his bowstring, Du You aimed at the leading longsword-wielding goblin. Once the goblin was within his shooting range, Du You instantly unleashed the arrow. It must be said that those able to follow a goblin brave warrior are not simpletons. When the arrow flew towards it, the goblin managed to react and dodged to the side. He had attacked many goblins, but never had one managed to dodge his arrow. The arrow didn’t hit the longsword goblin’s head as intended, but landed on its shoulder instead, creating a wound. Without lingering on his misfire, Du You drew his bowstring once again, still aiming at it. With its reaction slowed down due to injury, the next arrow finally pierced through the longsword goblin’s eye. The other goblins, noticing the attack, charged towards him, screaming as they usually did. ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹·𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑒·𝗇𝗲𝘁 The goblin brave warrior was initially at the forefront, but was blocked by its underlings and got stuck in the middle. "If that’s the case, let’s clear the minion goblins first. Xiaozi, take them out from behind." Upon Du You’s command, Xiaozi, the Electric Purple Eagle, descended from the sky with purple electric currents coiling around it, looking like a golden meteorite.
