He could have also activated the Space power, but it wasn’t the best for this kind of situation so he refrained from If anything were to attack him, it would fall into the Space and time domains which means some of the power would be lost due to taking longer to cross the increased distance as a result of the Space and Time Domains. Then the attack would need to get past the repelling force of Gravity, then destroy the powerful defense of the Earth armor and then break through the Barrier layer of defense to harm him.
