Chapter 1 CASSIES POV As the plane descended slowly to the ground , I felt waves of excitement in my veins . Sitting by the window , I watched the landscape . The buildings grew larger and more visible as we approached the airport . Tomorrow is my mothers wedding day . She would finally remarry after years of being alone . I was ecstatic about it .
